    Yup.
It doesn't look good (to say the least) according to "recent" history and current math. Looking at the electoral map, you can reasonably say the Democrats could very well have 196 or so Electoral College votes in the bag prior to the election with no "October Suprises" in sight.
California- 55 electoral college votes. Dems have won the state in the last six Prez elections.
New York- 29, Dems have won it in the last seven elections.
Illinois- 20, Dems won the past five elections.
Pennsylvania- 20, Dems won the past six elections.
Michigan- 16, Dems won the past six elections.
New Jersey- 14, Dems won the past six elections.
Massachusetts- 11, Dems won the last seven elections.
Wisconsin- 10, Dems won the last seven elections.
Minnesota- 10, Dems won last ten elections.
Connecticut- 7, Dems won last six elections.
Maine- 4, Dems won the past six elections.

Total count= 196 electoral college votes.
Of course this year could be different because the Democrats do have a flawed candidate (Hillary), and not exactly charismatic either.
Thank goodness for Texas 38, which has gone Republican the past NINE elections.
Florida 29, has gone Democrat the last two elections and Dubya won it the previous two. Same with Ohio 18.

Now, here comes the flip side.
Trump (imo) will probably go into the Convention with at least 1000-1100 delegates and a sizeable lead over Cruz.
We can also see the writing on the wall with the GOP/RNC Machine openly dedicated to preventing Trump from being the Nominee.

However (imho), I believe Trump can bring Pennsylvania, Florida, New Jersey, and a couple more northeastern states, Arizona and a couple of battleground States into very competitive play....certainly has a BETTER chance than Cruz, Kasich or Paul (lmao) Ryan.

Here's the catch- Trump CAN beat Hillary in Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Arizona and hold his own as well vs her in a couple of battleground states. And I believe he'll be VERY competitive in Ohio.

I can't say the same about those other guys - sure, Cruz will beat her in Texas and Kasich will beat her in Ohio....but she'll clobber THEM in those other aforementioned States.

Trump, imo, is more capable of beating her in more States than those other Republican "candidates" which is why I don't pay much attention YET to these "popularity" polls which may favor them vs Hillary......it's about winning States....not random questions and answers from people scattered all over the country.

    ...unbelievable..."random questions"?...seriously?

...you mean like asking registered voters "Who would you vote for between Trump and Clinton"?...it's pretty straight-forward to me, and that's precisely what voters would be be asked in November.

...it's very convenient for you to dismiss EVERY major poll out there when those polls counter your agenda.

...even when overwhelming evidence is presented to you that is contrary to your stance you still won't admit the obvious...why do you keep doing this? And why do you keep trying to predict what Trump may or may not do vs the Dems in November when he very likely won't get the chance anyway?...it's a moot point.

...instead of making empty blanket opinionated statements, try offering some tangible proof for a change...at this point, you're arguing just for the sake of arguing.

...but by all means, keep beating your head against that brick wall.

I hate to admit it, but if Trump is the nominee and there is no conservative 3rd party choice, ID rather vote for Kankles.

My rationale is that the transition to 2nd revolution/civil war will be more gradual and I'll have more time to provision and secure the compound.

I didn't know there was a better choice than a guy who is a real estate developer/ businessman, wants to literally build a boundary protecting a border which is killing the country slowly but surely - literally and financially, same guy is the only one with the balls and foresight who would (temporarily) ban a particular group of would-be immigrants of which ISIS has stated they would infiltrate and actually did in Europe.
The same candidate who has also brought to attention front and center bad trade deals which have seriously harmed American workers, is certainly anti-left/ anti-politically correct and wants to strengthen the military.

He would DEMAND (has already said) Saudia Arabia, NATO, ect, pay more for their own protection and/or pay AMERICA more for our protection.

Has also highlighted by openly admitting as a private citizen/businessman how he (and every other corporate lobbyist) would use "contributions" to BOTH political parties to gain influence and knows firsthand how most if not all politicians can be "owned" by special interests and he IS NOT, and WIll NOT "take their money" and be owned by anyone.

We can do a lot worse than Donald Trump leading this country. jmho.
The main reason, and biggest difference is I happen to be one of those who don't believe he'll "destroy America", or get on the phone personally insulting foreign leaders based on their looks as some actually believe.

And we currently have four other candidates who are either very far to the right, very far to the left or career politicians who have been part of the problem and helped create this current situation with a great many Americans fed up and tired of the same old sh!t.

Trump (imo) knows more about economics, creating jobs and the difference between helpful and harmful trade deals and policies than all of them.
Kasich, Cruz and Rubio all supported Obama's foreign trade policies- the trade "deals" Trump is warning about - not to mention how his wall will also help America economically as well as better providing physical safety from crime and drugs.....unless you believe unlocked doors keep you and YOUR family safer than locked doors...lol

    Please read:
Kasich also backs President Obama’s trade agenda — with disastrous results for the American workers he boasts of protecting. According to analysis from the Economic Policy Institute, “Ohio lost 112,500 jobs due to the nation’s trade deficit with TPP countries,” as Breitbart News previously reported.

It's easy to challenge or question, a Voting Politician's stances, voting records; especially when backing a non-politco, self consumed clown...

Chump has nada for a Voting record, (hell most of the time he never voted, as well, his personal voting record is pure Libtard). In words easy to understand, "Chump in past years, has had his head buried so far up Hillary and Bill's ass, he has to wipe the shit out of his eyes to see, clear his mouth to speak".....

    • I think Trump FORGOT more about economics and conducting business on a world stage than all of these stooges think they know...lmao....
    • They memorize names and talk about what they used to talk about on various committees.
This is so easy, Trump should run a commercial with this link about those other "electable" candidates....including Kasich the idiot.

And don't forget the part about Ohio losing 100k jobs ....lol

Hilarious....you can't make this stuff up.

By the way, this Cruz guy is two steps from being the spawn of a religious zealot and Joe McCarthy.

Only thing a monkey is good for is throwing feces...like Chump when he speaks....
