I think it was a fair trade for both teams because Earl Boykins is a really good player and he has proven the league that he can play ball. And that will be a good thing for the bucks because they need a player like that. Earl can even start the next game because Williams is injured. Maybe it's good that Steve Blake went to the nuggets maybe he will get a chance on being a greater player.

But no impossible look at the moves Isiah made. And I don't think there are stupid gm's out there like Isiah except Billy King still. JR Smith is nice young, and so is Nene. Starting Center, and SG, and future picks if those guys decided they wanna rebuild is not to bad. But Pau is not 30 if he was it would not take much like now.I know it's not going to happen 99%, but not impossible if they wanna rebuild.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I know it's not going to happen 99%, but not impossible if they wanna rebuild.</div>Your proposed deal doesn't help Grizz rebuil.d. Grizz take on two overpaid bigs that stranglehold their cap. Picks only can do so much, especially ones from Nugs who as right now traded them to the Sixers. Picks down the line and no cap = no ability to rebuild.
At first I thought this was a horrible trade for Denver. I know it was only one game, but Blake looked great and seemed to be a better fit with the offense. Sad to say even his deffense is better. He does't dominate the ball like Boykins. So esp when Melo gets back I think this will help the Nuggets.

LOLBut Yeah I see your point.

I just don't get this deal at all for denver. boykins is a better player straight up than blake, why would they give hodge with him?

It was done for money, and I hate that. You own a NBA team you must have the money I mean why make a trade, and not get something more for a guy who has gotten his value only up lately since AI came to Denver. Boykins scored 20 9 out of the 10 games his value was way higher then this.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>but they could've gotten a better player than Steve Blake, right?</div>I would so no, because if they could have got a better player that fit their criteria, than Blake would not be a Nugget.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>It was done for money, and I hate that. Being cheap at times is a key to continue having a successful team through years. If you overpay and run up your cap, your stuck.
I think the deal is fine for denver. They dodge luxury tax and they got a pass first pg for a guy that really would have no value to them. boykins would become the 5th maybe 6th offensive weapon behind melo ai jr camby and on top of that, boykins is a terrible defender and one of the biggest liabilities on any team because of his size. I dont mind the trade at all for denver's side.
