oh, I wish we still had Boozer. He is a 25 15 guy. He scores a lot and rebounds a ton. He would be the perfect "sidekick" for LeBron. It would leave Z more open and Hughes. They woul dhave to double up on both LeBron and Boozer. Also Boozer kills the sh*t out of Gooden. I just am sad from him not coming back.
The point is he left us for money, then the guy gets hurt and barely ever plays. Even though he is playing good now, I still wouldn't want him because, like Ricky Davis, he turned his back on the state of Ohio and the Cleveland Cavaliers. I mean, I understand what you mean, but I am happy with Gooden. Gooden is doing fine, he is getting double-doubles at will and having some big scoring games, and with Hughes and James scoring around 20 a night (most of the time around 30 for James) and Gooden and "Z" getting about 10 to 15 a game, then having guys off the bench having big scoring nights like Jones last game with around 12 points, there wouldn't be any room for Boozer to get 25 a night. Rebounds he could get plenty of, points he couldn't. The new offense shows it too with James points going down and everyone else's averages going up, this new system spreads the shots out more. So all though 25 and 15 is a nice thought, we wouldn't be getting that same amount if he was still here.I still don't like him... Gooden resigned and stayed and he (aside from some basketball choses he makes) is doing fine. So, I am content. But getting the same production from Boozer if he stayed on the team would be pretty cool.
Imagine... Yeah right. Wow, our defense on the frontcourt would be ugly to watch.. Boozer is absolutely dreadful to watch when it comes to defense to a point where even Gooden is more superior on. Personally, I don't even think Boozer is that much better than Gooden.

In Utah, he's the #1 option. Here, he'd be #4 just like Drew. you don't think Drew could average 20/10 on a team where he was the #1 option? Boozer averages more rebounds, but only because he plays more minutes, Drew has more rebounds per 40 minutes...

Gooden averages just about 10 less minutes per game. He has to share the court with AV, Marshall, and Z. The Cavaliers look to post up Z a lot, and since we already have a post player "threat" we use more, Gooden seems to get the left overs. In fact, most of Gooden's 12 points per game are off his offensive rebounds. Although the Cavaliers do tend to run plays for him, he usually only gets shots when he gets open or gets an offensive rebound.Just two games ago (January 9th, against the Kings) Drew Gooden had 21 points and 11 rebounds. He can, and does score in the 20s. He has had some of those types of games this year already, it doesn't happen often, but he also doesn't get to shoot freely like LeBron James or even Boozer. Gooden also had 31 points this month against the Bucks (on the 5th). Is he going to get to average 20 a game? No, I doubt it, when we are running most plays for James, plays for Damon Jones to shoot, plays for Z down low, and plays for Hughes off screens, the plays for Gooden often get lost in the mix and don't happen as often. He has had many 10 rebound games this season, he averages 9 right now and that isn't to far off from 10. Give him the 10 extra minutes that Boozer has and he can easily get 11 a game. About the point that LeBronJamez brought up about Gooden getting more rebounds per 40 minutes, is true. In fact Gooden is 19th in the NBA for most rebounds per 48 minutes with 15.7, Boozer is 22nd in that catagory.
Now way Gooden is better then Boozer. Boozer has done good consitantly. Gooden has 3 good games and now he is better then Boozer? Drew is not consitant at all.

The point that LeBronJamez and I are trying to make is that Boozer isn't all that good. LeBronJamez said, the reason his averages are so high is because he gets the ball more, he also plays more minutes, and I agree with him.

Boozer has always been a great PF. Cleveland fans just have there hate for him and we all know why.I like to still have him here over gooden, but when Gooden does good he is pretty good.I don't think our Big men have many problems besides the fact there D is ugly. Need to work on Boobie getting better or making a deal to get a scoring PG...IMO
