Update: According to the Boston Globe, the date for Paul Pierce to remove the walking boot from his left foot has been pushed back at least a week. After an evaluation on Pierce was conducted by team doctors, it was determined it will be one to two weeks before Pierce can remove the walking boot from his foot. After that, Pierce will be reevaluated to determine when he can return to practice. And according to coach Doc Rivers, Pierce will then need time to get into game shape. Analysis: It is no longer a possibility that Paul will return to action on Jan 19. In fact, it looks like he will be out for another four weeks, as he attempts to recover from the stress reaction in his left foot. If someone is trying to trade you Pierce with a cheap price, it would be a good idea to pass on it anyway. Source: Boston Globe ................................
yeah at this point I really don't care. It would be an absolute tragedy to see him rush back and injure himself more than he is already for no reason. Our team is in the gutter right now, Paul needs to take his time with his injury.
:lmao-1: We should just forfeit the season (kidding). We can't catch a break at all, huh? But I do agree that we should not rush Paul, or anybody, back. We aren't going to win anything this year at this point, so let everyone fully heal and give the kids some developmental minutes. Also, if Doc and Danny let Delonte play on Friday night, like Delonte requested, they are complete idiots.

Yeah were not catching anything near a break, I hope our young guys will step it up more than they already have. Its good they're not rushing him out though.
