Re: Official "post your game results" thread Uh...I didn't see this thread, so I decided to make this for us BBW members to post how we did in games.Well, last game was pretty interesting. As some of you know, I am not a scorer at all. But I thought I did have a good game. I got my career high in rebounds by a huge margin. I know that I got atleast 10 today. It was crazy, because the team we were playing has a ton of tall, athletic dudes. There's this one dude, Jamal, who was atleast 6"2, and was a great rebounder. He wasn't that skilled, but he got a ton of boards and blocks. Another guy, Stevie was about 5"11 probably, and got a ton of boards, blocks, and I checked the stat sheet, and he got 26 points, believe it or not. He was just so quick and athletic. He split our defense apart. Well, I don't know how I got that many rebounds. I guess it was because all the long rebounds kept on going my way. To my credit, I am not a bad rebounder. I'm 5"8, and pretty athletic myself. I play SF/PF too, but I don't know how I got that many boards. There was one sequence where I got 3 boards until I finally got the shot in. You guys don't have to believe me on this one, but I'm telling the truth. yeah, I also got a block too. This little guy who was about 5"2 or something was driving on a fast break. He stopped about 5 feet away from the basket, pumped, shot, and I just swatted it. I was just waiting for him to shoot it. Yeah, these guys were the 2nd best team that we face this year, so we lost by 17 points. It was 58-41 I think...Edit: Forgot to mention. I got 4 points. 2-5 shooting....Post your game recaps too...

Re: Official "post your game results" thread I have a basketball tournament this week. I had two games today, and I'm having two tomorrow too.The first game was against a sh*t team. I got 5 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals. Their team was pathetic. All I did was poke the ball out of the guys hands and score the last time...But there was this really annoying Korean kid who kept on elbowing me when I was going for the rebound 24/7. I told him that he was fouling me, and he called me a pansy.Yeah, we won that game.The 2nd game was against a really good team. We lost by about 15 points. I got 2 points (off a driving lay up), 4 rebounds, and 2 blocks (both on small kids). My first block happened when some 5"4 kid tried to shoot in my face. I just knocked it down. The 2nd one was pretty sick. This other little guy drove past one of the guards on my team, and tried to do a fingerroll,. I swatted the sh*t out of that. It bounced off the wall (about 5 feet from the baseline), and went back onto the court. Another play that I smiled at later with my teammates was when this buff 5"10, 165 lb guy was driving, and I just leaned into him and he went flying on his ass. He was alot bigger than me too. He was just lying there complaining for a foul.So, I'll post recaps of my two games tomorrow too.
Re: Official "post your game results" thread My last game was on last saturday, it was insane. We went into DOUBLE OT vs a top 5 team in our divison. I hit the game tiening foul shots to send it into double OT. Then I had 8 points in the final 2 minutes to tie the game(they went on a rund the first 3 minutes of the game). So game is tied our possesion with 10 seconds remaining. We do a press break and I knew I was going to be doubled so I caught it off the screen and then just threw a bounce pass across the court and the best shooter on the team was suppose to cut for the layup he didnt so the ball landed on the wing and he hits the game winner to win 47-49. I had 26 points and like 2 assist.
Re: Official "post your game results" thread cb4allstar u live in the toronto area right? if so then are you in a rep league or house league or is this a school team?anyway I dont have time for a league, and I got cut from my school team because I missed all my layups in the first tryout and I didnt do anything fancy to catch the coach's attention. thats kind of why I dont really like middle school team coaches because they will only notice you if you make big shots and if the other guys at the tryout go "OOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" anyway since im bored il tell you my "attributes"im grade 8 goto middle school im 5'6 long arms sort of like tayshaun prince I usually block shots when the offensive player is shooting, im not a big man type of player my rebounding style is awkward, because since I can reach out longer with one arm than with two usually what I do is I use one hand to tap the ball and then run for it instead of jumping really high and grabbing it with two hands. defensve I play pretty tight when I play my best defence good luck getting your shot in. on offense im not good at dribbling, im an alritei shooter I cant finish with my left im not that fast but I have some quickness in me that when I just run off on the right side I can just finish with my right get a easy layup in no1 can stop me.thats that.anyway everybody can ignore this and tell us your stories
Re: Official "post your game results" thread my last game I had 11 points, 3 assists and 2 rebounds. I sprained my ankle on on a layup towards the end of the game but its alright now. I had like 3 fastbreak layups in a matter of about 4 minutes, created one by blowing past the defender and got the layup then I dont remember what the last bucket was. I also had made a free throw after I got fouled on a shot. shoud have had an and one though but they called the foul on the ground. bullsh**!! we won 60 something to 47 I think. they werent really that good though

Re: Official "post your game results" thread <span style="font-family:Comic Sans MS">Well, hey, if non-school games count, today, I went with a friend of mine to a local recreational center in Moreno Valley (where I live) to sign up for a five-versus-five, 10 team tournament. The sign ups end next week on Friday and even if enough teams haven't signed up by then, the tournaments will start on Saturday morning.Anyway, when my friend and I went, we signed up three of our friends who are going to be on our team. There were these four guys playing two-on-two ball and my friend, Brandon, asked them if we can join. They let us.The game was pretty simple for Brandon and I. All four of those guys were probably about 5'6" or so. Latinos are short.. No offense to any Latin folks on this site. Brandon and I were on a team together with some guy named Michael. He sucked... terribly. We didn't even pass him the ball the entire time, unless you want to count the times he took the ball out and inbounded for us. We lost because all three of the guys on the other team were good shooters, so I guess I understand now why they had that sucky ass Michael play on my team.We lost, 28-30. We were going up to 21 and the team would have to win by two points... It was kind of a good game, other than the fact that I missed 7 shots in a row before I went in for a lay-up. I had 12 points and Brandon had the rest of them. I'm not sure how many rebounds I had because... well, I wasn't keeping track of everything. I did keep track of my blocks and steals. In total, I had 2 blocks and 1 steal. I would have had 3 steals in total if I didn't knock the damn ball out of bounds.Overall, it was a good game now that I think about it, but when I was playing it, I was agitated. I just couldn't get into an aggressive stance. Plus, I didn't do any crossovers, which is rare for me because I love playing street ball and it's basically a neccessity for a 5'11" guy to have handles.</span>
Re: Official "post your game results" thread Well, in my game yesterday, our team won by like 40 points or so. They werent all that great but in 16 minutes, I had...10 points (4-6 shooting) 2 three's4 assists4 steals1 rebound (Im a PG)1 TOI played ok.....Nothing too great...

They didn't school us, We schooled our selves.We didn't run any of our design plays at all due to the fact that some people don't show up for practice. There were only 4 people who knew the setup. Well actually 3 because 1 guy didn't know what he was doing. I was doing my stuff, hustling, running etc. But when our subs came on, We didn't know what to do. We'll be working on this stuff tomorrow morning at 6:30 AM. <_<It's alright. We didn't deserve to win. I played around 15-20 minutes, only came up with 2 rebounds and a steal. BTW, First game of the season. Next we got St.John(7Goat's school) on thursday. We need to win...
Re: Official "post your game results" thread I came off the bench and led my teamates to a win after a very sluggish start. We would have lost had I not come in and ran and hustled so hard. I inspired everyone to hustle and give all effort, we started out losing 4-13. We ended up winning by 20 points.My line:0 points (0-2 fg)6 rebounds2 steals1 block3 assists9 minutes
Re: Official "post your game results" thread I was tired as hell today.I had a sh*t game to be honest. We had to play on a college sized court. I was freaking tired after a while because there was so much running in this game. I didn't record a block, or a steal, and I didn't get as many rebounds as I usually get (maybe 4 or 5...). I got 5 points, which is decent for me, but I wasnt happy with my effort today. Our team won by about 15. This other team sucked.
Re: Official "post your game results" thread 1st game! We played a bunch of sophomores all over like 6ft tall..shortest guy was my height, and im 5'10. We lost 60-38 or something? Im not sure, we played very well in the second half only getting outscored by a few points.Points: 7Rebounds: 5Assists: 4Steals: 6Blocks: 1Minutes: 23I scored 18 points in the scrimmage early in the morning, but I kinda forced to many shots in the real game. I didnt rebound to well, but I passed the ball great, and I made some things happen on defense.
Re: Official "post your game results" thread anyway I had 13 points in my game today. about 3 assists and 3 rebounds. the score was 56-55, we were up one im standing in the corner and get the ball and I just wet the 3 in the guys face. then they score, after that I get the pass and they foul me, we were in the bonus so I go and knock down 2 free throws all the while the guys on the other team were telling me not to miss and all this junk. after all we end up winning 61-59. I had our last 5 points anyway

Maybe a few times we got it...I also saw 7Goat.41-61 St.Johns(7Goat's school)I once again got 0 points, I couldn't find my shot, My eye got fucken jacked up and swelling right this moment...I don't know man. This game really got me down, im failing my team, im one of the 1st options too.This feeling sucks right now, I need to find my shot.

Re: Official "post your game results" thread We killed the other team. They were pretty good but my team is just way better. I had:2 points4 rebounds1 assists7 minutesI came off the bench to bring some fire into our bench. I actually kind of liked it.
