Re: Official "post your game results" thread dont play highschool anymore, but my last line was:7points6 assist4 stls1 blockI dont know how many minutes...and my stats may not be correct either, I had my teacher keep up with them. Our coach refuses to tell us our stats of games.
Re: Official "post your game results" thread My last game I had 12 points, must have been at least 5 assists and 1 rebound...We got completley blown out, but it was a good learning experience for our team.
Re: Official "post your game results" thread This past Saturday:19pts (8FGM-23FGA), 10reb, 2ast, 40minOur best player wasn't there so I was depended on to do the scoring. They played box and 1 on me which made my best skill (driving/slashing) pretty much out of the game, and since I am small (5'8'', 160lbs) it was tough when I did get into the paint as there was this 6'7'' kid on their team.
Re: Official "post your game results" thread My game last week was 16 points (8-11 shooting) a couple blocks. Don't really keep track of rebounds and assists but I probably had around 8 boards and 3 assists. We had a nice comeback in the second half and I played one of my better games this year.

Re: Official "post your game results" thread Well, it wasn't "my" game, but I was at our high school game yet. We faced the #8 team in Eastern Mass., Brockton. The gym was packed with people, the bleachers were overflowing, etc. We played with them solidly, and it was a very very close game for most of the time. Then as time started to wind down, with about 5 mins left, they took like a 5-6 point lead which was their biggest of the night. Then we came back and just started drilling sh*t and ended up winning by like 11 with the huge upset. It was sick, I can barely talk because of the sore throat from all the yelling last night. Everyone in the students section (its actually the juniors and seniors section because all the gay sophs and frosh sit somewhere else), rushed the court, it was absolutely crazy. Sickest game I've ever been to, and we still have to play 2 top 10 teams in EMass, Lawrence and Central (our biggest rivals). Those games will be even sicker, I'm so pumped.

Re: Official "post your game results" thread I don't start playing until spring but I'll be sure to update this topic then.
Re: Official "post your game results" thread Gotta game tomorrow..I'm pumped for it too, again its all sophomores which sucks..but it'll be a good challenge..
Re: Official "post your game results" thread I haven't been on here in a while because last week, a bunch of kids quit the JV team at my school and new try-outs were held after school. I tried out and made it! I was as happy as I have ever been... Until Friday's game. The Freshman team at my school is decent. They're sitting at a 3-3 record right now, which isn't bad, seeing how they were expected to go 0-6 according to the local city newspaper. The Varsity team is sitting at a 5-1 record. They don't play good offense, but they have 3 guys who are terrific defenders, so the team is able to stop opponent's offense. As for the JV team, we're now sitting on a 2-4 record. I played off the bench on Friday, but the coach said he'll start me on Tuesday. We played against one of the best teams in Moreno Valley, California. These guys were raw. There were two guys who delivered one dunk each. Another guy from their team tried to dunk on a fast break, but he bricked the ball. They weren't really mind boggling dunks, but they got up there pretty high. As for myself, I had the following (my brother kept my stats and my friend Isiah's stats)oints: 4Rebounds: 0Assists: 2Steals: 1Blocks: 0Eh... I had a disappointing game. I hit 2-7 FG shots and one of them was an off-balance 3-Pter. I went in for a lay-up and got fouled so bad, but the damn ref didn't call it. Our team got slaughtered, 38 pts for us and 65 pts for the other school, which is Valley View in case any of you guys know about it.The coach said he'll start me the next game because I actually passed the ball, unlike our starting PG. He had about 3 points (1-8 FG; the 1 was a 3-Pter) and didn't have anything in any other statistical category. I'm 5'11" and am taller than a lot of players on the JV team, but the coach wants me to play PG because I'm a good ball handler. I believe my highlight of that game on Friday had to be a crossover on the other team's PG. He fell, but claimed he tripped off of my shoe. That's when I passed the ball and my partner hit a jumper for 2 points. Horrible game overall, though.
Re: Official "post your game results" thread Well..again they were huge, one guy well over 6'3..At the end of the 1st quarter we HAD NOT SCORED. It was horrible..but our defense was playing alright, then I made the a 3, and it was like 28-3..haha We ended up losing 34-19? wasnt pretty, but we played very well in the 2nd half.I wasnt very happy with my performance, I swear I shouldve had about 9 assists, and was open on the perimeter like 15 times. And I didnt have much confidence in my shot todayPoints: 5 (1-4 FG, 1-2 3PT)Rebounds: 8Assists: 1Steals: 2Blocks: 2, I had one other one..of course they called a foul

Re: Official "post your game results" thread Alright, first off, I re-read my previous post. I noticed that I put "Pts: 4" and later on stated:
QUOTE

I hit 2-7 FG shots and one of them was an off-balance 3-Pter.
So, obviously, I had 5 points.. Not 4. Whatever, though.Last night, we had a game against some little weak school, Mo Val Highschool. My team won, 45-32. It was a great game, especially since it was a home game. Some guy from the other team dunked on one of my teammates. I couldn't believe it!Anyway, as for myself, I hit 4-9 FG shots. All 4 of my FGs were lay-ups. I went to the foul line only once, hitting 1-2 FTs. I started! My brother recorded the game with his camera and he recorded one of my crossovers. It was insane. The other team called traveling, and, yes... I'll admit, I did travel, but eh... What the refs don't catch isn't worth screaming for, especially since technicals may be handed out. The guy I did a crossover on didn't fall or anything, but he did get left behind. He tried to play it off as though he wasn't supposed to be guarding me.Overall stats:Pts: 9Rebounds: 0Assists: 5Steals: 1Blocks: 0The only steal I had wasn't really my own steal. My partner slapped the ball out of a guy's hand and I grabbed it.Anyway, I'm going to keep track of everything for the next game. For instance, I'll have my brother count my turnovers and minutes, etc.
