    Just for shits & giggles............

In the Yankees last 7 games they are 1-6
In the Yankees last 7 games they've scored a total of 15 runs
In the Yankees last 7 games they've gone 4 for 58 with RISP (batting 194 on the year)

No wonder why the stadium looks half empty.

It's part of "The Plan" to let the opponents think 'your on the ropes', when your wearing them out long term....

Watching Hitter's with Men on Base, not necessarily ISP, but LOB period, no matter the count, or situation, is watching a lesson in futility....

Men get on base to die on the basepaths, while- to score is an adventure for this team...

For the optimist that says we're only a game behind last years pace (5-8 in 2016, 6-7 in 2015) let me add this VERY telling stat,

After 13 games in 2015 the Yankees were 24 for 92 with RISP = 260 average
After 13 games in 2016 the Yankees are 21 for 111 with RISP = 189 average

..."getting younger" doesn't necessarily equate to getting better.

right? arent they all a year older than last year? teams require a good mix of youth, young guys with established performance and seasoned vets. The problem is that we didn't keep certain youth or use those we have; the mid level guys are all wrong (Headley, Ellbury, etc) and the vets set the wrong examples (Arod, CC). This roster is the posterchild for how not to organize a sports team.

    my bad.

seriously, Cashman has actually crafted a team even worse than 2015 I wasnt sure that was possible. At this point, I'll entertain arguments that its ben intentional so as to either get the Steins to sell or open the checkbook.
