Not to mention it's a very soft team aside from the hits this series

That's the essence of Rick Nash. Completely flubs what should've been an easy goal.

The caps will smoke this pens team if they get by the fly girls.

Scrubs have been killing this team for years. This series no different.

This offseason is going to be very interesting and difficult.

It's the same thing every year with this team, our fucking stud defensemen are always playing hurt. Not for nothing but McDonagh is at best a second pairing defenseman, nowhere near the top defenseman in the league

Hank has let in some bad ones but you're expecting him to steal games where the entire team is playing like trash. He's left hung out to dry more often then not. My issue with Hank is what he's being paid. $8.5 million against the cap is a million more than the leagues #2 paid net minder.

Not really sure the Rangers from goal out toDmen and forward could have played any worse this series.

The biggest issue with this year's team is the speed is gone. They're beaten all over the ice far too often.

The lone bright spot is Skjei getting some good experience to end the year.

It was bound to happen. Long run after long run wears you down. For the first time in many years we will be done in April, and that's okay. Take the ton of extra time off and rededicate for next season.

I am happy they got embarrassed instead of losing a long tough series. Games 4 and 5 were pathetic, and should be used to motivate the offseason, and tell Gorton/Sather they need to make some real moves this summer. And that is good to me. Like 6 or 7 different players here. I am not upset we lost as pathetically as we did. That is a positive if we were going to lose.

To me it starts with at least one of Staal or G gone. All the UFA's should be allowed to walk. Hayes gone if he can be used as a chip to deal Staal or G...if not maybe back at 2 mill per tops. Nash we'll see. I am all for dealing him if we can, we'll see if we can.

That's a start to me. 6 or 7 different players. If all 3 of Nash, Staal, G are on the team next season we are in trouble. I think at least 1 of the 3 is gone, and the UFA's as well.
