Huge game by Plums when we needed it!

I'm starting to think we've finally found our center of the future. Give him a few years and he could be something special. He's everything we hoped Meyers would be.

He has played well the last two games of the playoffs. I'll give him his claps tonight. He is still surprisingly young and has room to grow. He really needs to work on at least adding a midrange jump shot to his game. That alone would increase his productivity 10 fold.

That was quite a game by Plums. Really saved our bacon.

Also Harkless: If that guy develops his shooting next season he will be a cornerstone of this team. All star potential if he learns to shoot.

If he could reliably hit free throws I'd agree!

Which do you think has the greatest likelihood of happening, Plumlee shooting the midrange and free throws better or Meyers learning how to rebound and pass the ball?

I'd put my money on Plumlee.

The guy has an extremely unique set of skills for a center.

How many big men are a legit threat for a triple double?

I agree with you. I think that Meyers is that unicorn you hope will turn up, but Plumlee has a lot going for him. Plumlee being able to facilitate was actually what kept the pressure off of Dame and CJ tonight. But seriously, a little sneaky midrange shot would do wonders.

    Great job again by Plumlee.

Now, if somebody would figure out who stole Crabbe's and Henderson's shoot touch, maybe the Blazers can still win this series.

Yup, he has a very particular set of skills, skills he has acquired over a very long career. Skills that make him a nightmare for people like the Clippers. If they let his daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. He will not look for them, he will not pursue them. But if they don't, he will look for them, he will find them, and he will kill them.

Nope. As I've often posted, Plumlee should play PF. He is too mobile and fluid (and short and thin) to stay at C for his whole career.

Sign some size like Kanter and we already have a very tall PF.

He's high IQ for a center, I'm sure he'll put in the work in the off season.

What's nice is he doesn't force the shot, he looks to pass for a high percentage shot.

He's finding cutters like Marc Gasol.

He'd consistently rack up the assists if he had a PF who could score.

These are all good things. And I love seeing it from him. But seriously, if he could work on that free throw range jumper and finishing at the rim, he would be fantastic. Right now, his touch around the rim is really hurting him. He has a lot of other great skills though.

He can't play PF for Stotts. He can't shoot.

    Short?

Plums is 7'0.5" with a 36" vert. I don't know why I keep hearing this - Plums is legit 7-footer.

In basketball it doesn't matter where your head is; it matters where your hands and arms reach.

Mason has trex arms for an NBA player. DeAndre Jordan has a 7'6" winspan. Aminu is 7'3" and plays SF.

    Mason's wingspan is 6'10"

Mason Plumlee joins Shaquille O'Neal, Tim Duncan, and Kevin Garnett as the only players to post 20+ Rebs, 9+ Asts in a playoff game in the last 30 years.

Impressive game for sure. That reverse putback dunk was special.
