    There's no rule to the size of a cult.

    Hiliar's supporters can't be in the majority, because they're not 50%+1 or more. They're not even 25%. In the primaries, it sure looks like Trump plus Cruz or Kasich or Rubio got more popular votes.

    Far more likely that either Trump or non-Trump voters stay home (depending on whether Trump wins the nomination or not) than that Sanders voters do, especially if Trump or Cruz ends up the nominee on the other side. The Democratic primary has actually been less bitter than the 2008 primary between Clinton and Obama, with many Clinton supporters at the time saying they'd never vote for Obama. That didn't seem to hurt him, and that was in a cycle when the Republicans were far more normal. The Republican party this cycle is in the process of eating itself.

    Hiliar is no Obama. Her unfavorable ratings are sky high. If it ends up Trump, there will be one rock star in the race, like 2008. The rock star isn't Hiliar.

    Yes, a rock star with the worst favorability in modern political history.

    Outside of his home state, Trump doesn't even draw a majority of Republican support and has the worst favorability ratings among Republican candidates. Feel free to bet on that in the general election, when Republicans become less than half of the voting population.

    I certainly agree that Clinton is no Obama. In fact, in a normal cycle, Clinton would probably be doomed in the general election. Fortunately for her and the Democrats, the Republicans seem set to nominate one of the worst candidates ever seen...and that's true whether it's Trump or Cruz.

    Their other option is to rules-lawyer the nomination away from either and hand it to a "white knight," and blow up their party properly.

    There were 17 candidates. 16 of them split the "majority" of the votes.

    What's for sure is virtually all the republicans and about half the democrats don't want to vote for Hiliar.

    Unfortunately for us all, I think Trump will run away with the general election once he starts campaigning against Hiliar. He will do to her what he did to Jeb.

    You can reverse that and say the same for Trump. Virtually all the democrats and more than half the republicans don't want to vote for Trump.

    No, he was polling at 30% against Carter early on. That's different than favorable/unfavorable ratings.
