Apologies if this topic has been created before. However, for my consideration, I would have to nominate Drew Gooden as being one of the softest players in the league. His defense is very limited and he's always getting dominated by stronger big men.. But who do you guys think? Peja Stojakovic? Carlos Boozer? Tell us who is your nominee(s).

Boozer? he's a beast down low. and he can actually play D, he just doesn't do it all the time.AK47 however is very soft.

Jalen Rose is the definition of soft. I havn't seen him go in and take contact once, and his defense is downright terrible.

Antawn Walker. He doesn't use his size affectively. Just a 6'9 who chucks 3's all day.

He used to stick his fat ass into people boxing out down low and was very effective. He can be soft but for the most part there a guys who are a lot more soft than Toine.

Keith Van Horn was the softest for a long time.

Raef LaFrentz. Can't rebound worth sh*t, has no toughness on the boards.

Michael Doleac is soft as hell, he is alergic of playing in the post and is scared of going up strong to either score or grab a rebound. Thank god he has a decent mid range shot or he would be completely useless.

Chris Webber is soft as well. He definitely was not soft before his knee injury, but afterwards he has become one of the softest players in the league. He doesn't like to post up or go bang down low, nor does he like to battle for position when it comes to rebounding the ball (most of his boards are because the ball bounces right to him, or he gets them off of Dalembert's tips). He tries to avoid contact whenever possible, which is understandable to an extent because I'd be cautious with a screwed up knee as well, but now he just stands at the free throw line extended and the elbow and shoots jumpers all day long.

Boozer and Gooden aren't soft at all. Raef LaFrentz dominates this category. Christian Lattener was soft too. Oh yeah, and Shawn Bradley. Then there's always Ericka Dampier.

No soft means afraid of contact. Dampier is anything but that. Shaq calls Erick Ericka because he got embarrased by Dampier a couple times during the regular season and this is his way of expressing his frustration with Dampier.
