Blazers have no chance to win this series; are you excited for next season?

Im proud to say I voted blazers in 6 from the start. Even without the injuries we have incredible momentum against a team of choke artists.

 

You never accepted my condition of covering if HCP didn't pay you.

I'll give you a $100 if HCP pays you because then you had a valid risk and would've paid me if we lost.

If he doesn't pay you then you never had any risk of loss; doesn't seem right for me to pay you in that case.

Another idea; I'll buy you a WCF ticket the 1 hour drive down the road here to San Antonio; or hell the 6 hours drive to OKC if we make it that far.

From the words above, you accepted a bet for 100 dollars with king. He mentioned offhand that he was going to pay you with hcp's money that he still hasn't received, but you just went in with a virgin 100 dollars. I don't see any way out of paying the man, if the Blazers win. And this is why I don't bet. Anything can happen.

 

I paid Sly 200 bones when LaBitch left in free agency. Happens to the best of us.

 

Well I didn't say I'd give him $100 if the Blazers win; I said I'd "bet" it. A bet indicates a loss of value to either side. I clarified the conditions I would accept from him and never got a response.

If HCP gives me that $100 I'll give Speed $200.

 

Mine was a bet as well. Sly would have owed me money if thou who shall not be named stayed. You do with it what you will. Just pointing out that some bets on here do get completed.

Draco has my respect. He felt the way he did and that's his right. He owned up and admitted it was premature. He had alot of valid points to back his opinion up.

But this is why "you never say never" is such a cliche. All cliches are cliches because they are true.
