Didn't make it to the Umpqua, the ocean was like a washing machine with a Southwest wind on a Northwest swell. Ducked into Coos Bay instead.

Spent the night anchored near the North Bend Bridge. Caught the game with Wheels though. Go Blazers!

Taken from the companion way hatch on the MarAzul. Those little splashes in the water are Hail Stones.
    Waiting for that to pass.

You're trying to take your boat up the Umpqua river?

Not now. I would have to just past Winchester Bay, if I had made it to the river. Now I think the next leg will be the Siuslaw River. We shall see.

Not sure, depends on weather. Perhaps Friday we go to Garibaldi (Tillamook Bay).

Holy shit! You made it to Sauvie Island? You're here in Portland? How was it crossing the Columbia bar? When is the open house/boat?

The trip over the bar was smooth compared to Bandon. Come on down, tied up about two miles down stream from the Bridge on the Island.
I need to leave tomorrow but I will be back here Wednesday.

After I get some business about parts for the boat done. I think my brother is coming to take me to north portland to do this, then I am just moving to somewhere for a the night then back here the next day. Not really sailing just moving to be compliant with the rules, 72 hour at this dock.
