Tonight me and a few of my friends went out to eat at this sports bar and grill. Everything was going fine, we were hanging out having some food. My cell phone rang and I hit silent to be polite towards other people. About 5 minutes later it rang again and I quickly pressed silent within 1-2 seconds. My phone rang for a third time and I said I was going to turn it off.Some old guy gets in my face calling me all kinds of names for having my cell phone on at a restaurant. I was like dude seriously I'm sorry for having my phone on but I already turned it off please get out of my face. He insisted on calling me a few more names but I just ignored him and laughed it off. Now, I know it's common knowledge to keep your phone off when other people are eating but he took this too far.Have any of you guys had a small experience like this? When people have hissy fits for no reason...
what kind of restaurant was it? like a fancy one? I dont know why people always get so upset over stuff that really has nothing to do with them or actually affects their lives
so why would a guy get mad at you for that? what a jerk actually. sports bars are normally loud anyway.
Old people.. Oh, that explains everything. Usually elders who are grumpy would take things extremely serious. It's just how they are.. Nothing can stop them from being so picky and moronish.
He was way out of line. I could see if you all were in a movie theater or quiet restaurant, but a sports bar...? He was probably just trying to make a scene. You were right to just ignore him.

Yeah some 40 year old jacked dude wanted to fight me and 10 of my friends when we were at a carnival because there was loud noises there and he thought we were making them. His daughter was crying because of a loud banging noise but it was the balloon game and she was crying.The guy yelled 'WHY DO YOU THINK YM f*cking DAIGHTER IS CRYING?' and I said 'because you're yelling and swearing' and he almost punched me in the face but he thought 'ZOMG he has 10 friends who will destroy me if I swing'.

People in Pennsylvania are miserable angry douchebags to begin with. I'm not surprised to hear something like this happened with you living here in PA.
