So how do we beat the Warriors?

We need to outscore them. Works every time.

 

Pretty simple, you need Mo and Aminu to shoot really well, you need Crabbe and Hendo to score. People are going to hate seeing this but Meyers Leonard sure could help right about now. There's so much pressure on Crabbe and Hendo to score off the bench that if one or both of those guys struggle, you can basically count on almost nothing from your bench. And you definitely need Klay to struggle a bit, if he's not hot they can't go on as many patented runs without Steph.

 

Honestly, it's ALL house money from here on out. Getting swept doesn't tarnish ANYTHING... no one expected us to make the playoffs, but now we're in round 2. I wouldn't be mad if we got swept, But I will say GSW in 6.

We have to injure Curry, Thompson and Green. Then we might barely beat them.

 

No he just needs to play smart for 48 minutes. As a whole we need to keep the ball-movement going, every time it dies we look like crap.

Golden State can't guard us. With Curry out, we can guard them. They actually lose a game to that horrible Houston team. I expect us to win in 5 or 6 games. Even if Curry comes back, he won't be 100%.

 

Nik still thinks it's an unmitigated disaster that we made the playoffs.

 

And he's only getting re-evaluated... could be longer.

But I'm almost certain that's why they have the 3 day break between games 2 and 3. lol.

 

We've gotta take the first two games. I know we can do it. Pay no attention to the Houston series. They are average at best without Curry. Dallas smashed the Warriors without Curry during the season.

Yeah, first the league will catch us tired and worn out, physically and mentally, from the Clippers series, with no time to prepare and a noon game, while GS is fully rested at home.

Then they'll stall in the hopes Curry can come back to finish the series and be ready for the Spurs.

 

Limit Thompson. If he goes for 30-35, we'll lose.

-Make Klay put the ball on the floor. Deny and push up on all on ball screens for Klay.
- Don't help on draymond ever. Make Draymond be a scorer.
- Make Iggy shoot and play him as a passer first.
- Don't guard Bogut, but expect to step up on screens set by him to prevent 3s behind the screen.

-CJ or Dame on Livingston, Barnes, iggy, Klay is a mismatch in the post but at least it is 2 instead of 3. I would use Dame on Barnes as he is passive.
-I'm not sure how we can matchup with Green at center but I believe Aminus entire goal this series needs to be to guard and limit Draymond defensively.
-I would use Harkless or Crabbe on Klay.

Also when golden state loses they turn the ball over a ton.
