Yeah I haven't heard it in years. According to my cousin though, kids in middle and high school still say it pretty casually.
You can't expect them to not be insensitive and immature though. If that's on anybody it's on the parents
1. Deleting those is the agents job. It's his job to protect and improve his client's image. 2. This is old. Those were posted before. We didn't care because Aminu and Harkless weren't Blazers. 3. I'm sure those were deleted years ago.
This was released.... a year ago? Dame made a few apologies, but nothing really came from it. The Aminu posts are much worse though, obviously.
Damn, somebody in our scouting department didn't do their job (I blame Chad Buchanan, wasn't he director of scouting back then?). Those quotes were 6 weeks before we drafted Dame. We should have known then he wasn't 100% committed to defense! BNM
I think Aminu might actually be a bit repressed after finally reading some of them. So over the top it sounds like a Republican going apeshit on the senate floor and picking up some dude in a public restroom later that night. The one about other guys spanking it to fall asleep is odd as if he were thinking about them doing it. Whatever, 99.99 percent of everything I sat through was gibberish.
I found nothing but accuracy in Kevin Durant's statement about being willing to drink Scarlett Johansson's bathwater.
Sigh! Ain't that the truth. You can't expect a 16 year old to always be a paragon of maturity and good judgement. Absent some evidence that the ADULT Harkless is a bigot, I am inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt. Aminu is a different case. I respect freedom of religion, but if he is really a practicing Moslem, having him on the team is likely to be problematic.
