By Jerry Crowe, Times Staff Writer January 13, 2007 But that's where the similarities end between New Jersey-bred center Andrew Bynum of the Lakers and his shorter, slightly older counterpart, Atlanta-bred Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic. The two lined up against one another tonight in Staples Center and, if arrangements can be made, plan to train together this summer.
Just thought that was good and interesting news. Another young big man for Andrew to not only work out with and bang up against. This will undoubtedly help Bynum's progression and I'm glad Howard wants to befriend Bynum who will probably be up against eachother alot and future rivals.
Man oh man would that help Bynum's athleticism. He's able to beat most big men in the league on nothing more than footwork and post moves (not saying they're easy). He's not very good at using any athleticism he (supposedly) has. Imagine the player he can become if he starts doing the kind of things Howard does in the offseason. :shok:
Yeah like when Howard came back with all that muscle, it was crazy. Bynum should definitely do this, it would help his game considerably IMO.They are going to be good big man rivals in the future.
Bynum will know what moves to put on him when they play the Magic. Howard and Bynum are the future big men of the NBA.

No, give Howard to LA and it would be much better the other way around. Mostly because I like it more, but it would still be. Our big men position would be so deep.
I don't see what the purpose is of you guys fantacizing over D12 going to LAL.Anyway, just as everyone else stated, Bynum working out with Howard will help Bynum fit into his "big man" role a bit better because he and Dwight will be able to teach one another their own techniques of scoring and if you guys have noticed, Howard tends to outpower his opponent all the time, which can be good if Bynum picks up on dunking on players.
ahh D12 and Bynum... that would be sweet and I think Howards contract is what 2 more years.. that would be a crazy lineupFarmar-Kobe-Odom/Walton (HATE TO SAY IT)- D12-Bynumbetter than the 72-10 Bulls
