Negativity, especially in game threads

SOOOO since Sir Jinx-A-Lot isn't with us anymore, he won't mind me sharing his text he sent me earlier tonight......isn't the first time he has contacted me like this. This time he was a bit more polite than normal. You must realize I have a beautiful wife and kids and hobbies and am living a normal happy life and have responsibilities and don't have time to reply.Maybe deep down he's jealous that The HCP has an Emmy and he DOESN'T!



As I scanned this quickly after I received it, I looked up and saw my son who I just watched play a HS baseball game and my daughter who I just picked up from soccer practice as they prepare for the Oregon State Cup Championship this Saturday and realized how happy I am to have so much more going on in my life that I would feel I need to send people sketchy almost stalkerish type text messages concerning topics that only I care that much about. Oh well....... #RipCity

What about these bro? You're one of those 3 or 4 that hit that LIKE button every time this guy goes crazy and says mad shit about me... almost every time somebody comes on here tries to say shit about or towards me, you hit LIKE. You got beef with me kid, put me on ignore.

If that's how you feel about my post above, what about your girlfriend's post below? What kind of posts would you consider these?

You should go read Immanuel Kants Critique of Pure Reason. Then you yourself can decide whether or not you should read this thread, or at least whether or not you believe you will learn anything from it.

 

I stop posting in game threads all the time and it makes it a much more enjoyable experience. Its fun to post in them now and then but if you read them and post in them every time then your in for a real downer experience because they are dictated by game flow and how people are playing. They are the equivalent of those videos people take of other people watching scary or playing scary games/movies. There is nothing wrong with the game thread but since it is a reactionary thread it will both be good and bath throughout the game and the ending of the game will dictate how the thread usually goes the for the next several hours.
The only thing that annoys me is the threads that pop up after the games when people are heated and wanting to lash out and just make a new thread about a point that a fairly irrelevant point, same goes for when we win and people do the same thing. But thats simply an annoyance and like ignoring a fly it doesn't take much effort to just look away and not read them.
The point of this forum is to discuss Bball and imo have fun while doing it. If you can't do that anymore then its probably best to take a break and from the forum and after a few weeks come back and you'll see things very differently since your not already angry or upset while reading it.

 

When I dropped the math major, I was a philosophy major for a year and learned words like ontology. Then I went through a couple more majors. Nowadays I learn words like oncology. I used to read every thread here, but then the board went legit with Blazer sponsorship and exploded. Denny tells the mods to constantly keep threads going so I don't have time to keep up anymore.

I don't know what's in this thread, but it looks like the perfect place to natter on for hours about myself. I'll go write some more. This is like bullshitting your way through an essay exam when you haven't read anything assigned. My kind of thread.

I have so many problems with those post. What was the point in this? You're really trying hard to make him look bad. Youre taking shots at him and posting his text because he won't see it. That's pretty god damn childish of you. Not to mention how cocky this post was as well.

This is a basketball forum. I don't know why the hell you're bragging about you children's high school sports in a way to try to put this man down. Through your posts in the past youve shown that you need to make yourself feel superior to others. Ill assume that's what you're doing with this bullshit post.

I get pretty busy and it takes me some time to get back here so i am quite often one of the very last to post on threads. I see many of you have the same opinion about a thread like this and all the "Drama". Dude comes on here and tells people they are "clueless". Dude comes on here and tells people to "Learn the game then post". Dude comes on here self righteous because he thinks he is a "superior fan" but can't handle the fucking truth. Dude comes on here now and cries because people are posting emotional feelings in a game thread. (By the way that is the reason i don't post in game threads except before and after the game) Take a step back. Take care and learn basic social communication skills. The thrashing you have given some on here is beyond believable now you post a thread thinking everyone is going to KOW TOW to your feelings? Give it a rest.
