...to be fair, Headley cannot help being what he is, which is a fringe player who had one anomalous year that was good enough to sucker Cashman into over-paying and over-extending him with a horrendous contract.

I can't believe he doesn't have a single extra base hit this season. Ten singles and two RBIs.

    ...yup, it's abysmal, isn't it?

...but hey, here's a ray of hope, Ackley is now pinch hitting for ARod.

Sevy did not throw an ace game this evening but once again the God Damn offense fails to try and overcome a 3 run deficit. Real great bunch there Mr. Cashman.

Pitchers in baseball are hitting better than him.

There's no much left to say that's not just going to keep beating the same dead horse. 8-16 speaks for itself as does 4-14 in their last 18 games. You're playing at a one of the worst teams in baseball level.

One or all of the following will happen in the next few days to a week..................

    1) Girardi will be fired.

    2) Headley will be either released or sent down to the minors.

    3) Refsnyder will be called up to play 3rd base.

I feel bad for Girardi but it just looks like they're no longer playing for him. I don't know if a change will help but it can't hurt.

This mess is in no way Girardi's fault. It has been coming for a while and belongs entirely to Brian Cashman who has driven this franchise into the ground. Look nobody could've expected the collapse we have seen from a good portion of the veterans. My concern is really not about them anymore. We know we're waiting for contracts to run out. My concern is what a farm system which seems to be full of marginal prospects and what that says for the future.

Cashman has to go before Gerardi.

Off to StL for a few days. Will tell you what a real baseball team and organization looks like....

Yeah Rob, maybe I should have said what SHOULD happen instead of what COULD happen.

LOL, could is good, would or will, now that's the ticket....

Personally, I'd rather see Joe stay, and Trashman go, .... but I would not be surprised if Joe's made the scapegoat for Brian and Hank....

^^^^^^the (only?) problem with this Yankee organization when
Cashman does go, there will be a Cashman clone ready to make
GMs a Greater Moron in Yankee history.
