The governor should make all the Eugene area pot shops have a 75% off sale at the same time on Friday.
IOWA (VFB) — When Presidential candidates come to town, local police departments spring into action to ensure not only that candidate’s safety, but the safety of the public and everyone involved. Substantial time and resources are spent planning and executing such events, which if not reimbursed by the campaigns, must be covered by local taxpayers. “I think a lot of people just assume that those costs are being reimbursed, and they aren’t,” Marshalltown, IA Police Chief Mike Tupper, told me over the phone Tuesday afternoon. “I am happy to report that Bernie Sanders paid.” Not only did Sanders pay, “He actually asked up front how much, and he paid those costs, which makes him the first candidate to do so in my 23 years [of law enforcement in Iowa].” http://vetsforbernie.org/2016/03/chief-says-bernie-first-ever-to-pay/
I just made a run down and back on the 205, Vancouver to Wilsonville. Traffic was gridlocked heading south most of the way. (I-5 was worse). Turns out the cause of the stop and go traffic were several inmate crews picking up litter along the shoulder, female inmates. Not much to look at, unless you like females that could start for the Raiders. Maybe they were getting into shape to break up the Trump rally?
Hillary and Donald both say they support the police, Sanders is supporting them and the communities that pay their salaries. (That statement was not an endorsement of Sanders or means that I plan on voting for him. In the past Denny has a hard time with that.)
So what you're saying is Bernie Sanders is not letting the town FEEL THE BERN of paying for his police help? Sounds good to me. I'm on board as to saying all politicans are liars and mouthpieces, but Bernie seems to be the least mouthpiecey of all of them.
I'd go to the Trump Rally. But, if Cali was any indication of how the opposition acts, I'd rather stay at home and not get assaulted.
@jlprk and visit Trump on Saturday! http://www.kiro7.com/news/local/trump-in-washington-event-details-still-unclear/263535337
