No one has died because it's an advanced socialist country, but I'll respectfully wait a few days to make sure, before bringing up the cause, global warming, and the villians in this story, Republicans and Denny. I don't want to politicize the thread prematurely, since I always follow the lead of the controlled news media, which is ignoring the cause of all this.
Ha! Well actually you mis read it. It was a serious question, I know I mis humor often and wonder if I am doing it again.
The Prime Minister will be in Fort Mac today to survey the damage and thank emergency responders. As of yesterday the fire was 241,000 hectares (600,000 acres/930 sq.mi.) in size. It is still growing but the rate seems to be slowing. Cool(er) temperatures and humidity are helping. The fire is moving towards the Southeast and away from the town. Central and Northern Alberta have moved from extreme fire risk to very high fire risk late this week. Fort Mac is still a dangerous place to be and residents may not be allowed to return for another two weeks. Canada turned away help from several countries including Russia saying they could manage the disaster. Some Canadians were under the impression no one had offered help. The two casualties of the fire were teenagers killed in a wreck. As of right now there are no indications that anyone died from inhalation or in the fires.
