I bet Kawhi and Paul would have campfires in the locker room to make coffee, wear flannel, and make their own jerky. A lot of riverboat gambling trips...
The west is going to look very different next season, I think the Thunder, Rockets, Grizz, and maybe Mavs will be very different.
Anyone notice that next year is 2016-17? The stars are aligning... We are gonna get a star in the summer and win a title for our 40th anniversary of the championship team... His will be done...
He's been about 4th best SF. Easily behind LeBron, Kawhi and Paul George and Draymond Green as well if he's a SF. I'm almost hoping the Lakers break the bank to land him.
Horford was asked if he wanted to return to Atlanta next year and he said "yes". Certainly more decisive than LMA last year...
To be fair, what the Spurs got for George Hill was the #17 pick in the draft. That's a fair trade. It's the 16 teams picking before that that should be kicking themselves.
The organization pushed Aldridge out. I can't even blame him for leaving. They tried to entice him to stay by putting him in a position (leader) which he is not comfortable in. Looking at his situation in San Antonio you see that it is perfect. He's tremendously talented but not a leader personality. You can just tell he is more comfortable in the role he is in now in San Antonio, and I can't help but feel like he could have had the same thing here with Lillard running the show. Just an awkward situation, which happens some times and it was clearly best for both sides for Aldridge to move on.
You've got to think there is bound to be a change in Atlanta. They've had the same core together for a while now and haven't been able to get where they want to.
