    From what I understand Simon & Garfunkel laid down an acoustic version of "Sounds" Afterward the engineers brought in the electric & drums, made a mix and the song took of. Never was a huge Simon & Garrfunkel fan but I did like this song. I took two good listens to the "Disturbed" version and liked it. I sensed a bit of Goth in the vocals which to me made the song in tune with some of todays times. Always liked the line "and the people bowed and prayed, to the neon God they made".
