Neil needs to drop 50 when we play the Spurs in the next round.

Really? For adding one all star, who wanted to go home to mama, to an already contending team? Did he do something else I'm not aware of, like for instance, replacing four starters and two key backups, on a budget, while preserving cap space for future acquisitions, and having said team earn the fifth seed? :dunno:

I'm sure Neil is going to take this well. I hope he signs Durant and LeBron this summer and flips the league the bird.

2nd place in coach and exec for the year. Not bad. Doubt this gives much motivation for the Blazers tonight, but hey anything helps, right?

Neil got more 1st place votes. Buford got 21 total votes and Neil only got 17. That's surprising. I don't know how you can leave Neil off the ballot completely but whatever.

RC Buford should give that award to Patty Mills.

    Matched Enes Kanter.

What else did this guy do? That one is the most surprising to me.

According to Woj, Buford voted for Olshey. Probably not allowed to vote for himself, though.

Pretty much the same thing I was saying about the COTY voting. More votes should not outweigh more 1st place votes. 1st-2nd-3rd voting is inherently flawed when the purpose is to vote for one best performer.

Let's step back for a second here.

Our GM got 2nd place in EOY, and is very respected among peers and agents.
Our coach got 2nd place in COY, is also very respected among players, and has a great player development staff.
Our 2nd best player got MIP.
Our star will probably land on an All-NBA team, and is one of the leading endorsers in the NBA despite being in a "small" market.
Our team is surpassing every projection, and is overachieving beyond anyone's imagination.

We have a massive yacht filled with cash, just to give away. Is this going to be the first time top tier FAs consider POR as a destination?
