It has come up before. One of the radio stations (I think 1080 The Fan) had him on for an interview after he last came out. Mo-ito? Too bad Moe's middle name isn't James, Jackson, John etc. Mojito!!!!!
Howard doesn't block 3.5 shots anymore and he cares more about getting touches than anything else and he has bombed on his last two teams. And he's older than the core. And he doesn't pass like Plumlee, and Davis would lose minutes.
Do we know anything about Dame's love life? Oh and great article. On the radio in LA today, they said Warriors would win title with Dame instead of Curry. I agree.
JVG said the same thing during Game 3; as much as I bristle at the comparisons too (I'm with Dame; let him be his own player dammit!), it's not false; some improvements in our supporting cast (Marc Gasol would be a coup), and we're in the conversation.
I know everyone is reserved to thinking Durant is a lock to stay in OKC. The question I have is why? We know players leave teams, statistically a huge percentage of star players leave the the team that drafted them around the age of 28-30.... Huge percentage. Also just because he backed up Westbrook aregarding Cuban doesn't mean he won't leave, they are still teammates now and in the playoffs so yeah he's gonna say the right things. But let's look at the actual cast of characters compared to the Blazers. Blazers - Thunder Durant = Durant Lillard < Westbrook (minimal edge) CJ > Roberson Aminu < Ibaka Plumlee > Adams Crabbe > Waiters Leonard < Kanter Harkless > Singler Henderson > Morrow Portland is a bigger market than OKC, so it's one fo the rare examples where we aren't the smaller market. I think Like the Rockets and Clippers, the Thunder should they not make it to the Conference finals are in a state of stagnation. I'm not predicting Durant will come to Portland, but I don't believe that he is a lock to automatically re-up with OKC.
By coincidence, today I started a book I picked up at Friends of Castro Valley Public Library book sale called The Water's Lovely.
Westbrook gets better stats but I wouldn't call him the better player. Next year's Meyers is probably better than Kanter. Also, Aminu is better than Ibaka. Ibaka has fallen off lately while Aminu is surging.
