OT Ohh Lord, Boston Trade with Nets

    What an absolute Coup for the Celtics now. The trade looked like this

    Nets received: Garnett. Pierce, Jason Terry and DJ White, all gone now

    Boston Received a bunch of players not with team anymore and this
    2014 1st Rnd pick: James Young

    Ok that's not sexy but check this out, the rest of the trade

    2016 1st round pick (no protection #3 odds in Lotto)
    2017 Right to swap 1st round picks
    2018 1st round pick

    The nets are going to be terrible for the next couple years and no odds of adding by lotto until 2019. Meanwhile Boston has built a solid young team and is going to be reaping the rewards of the Nets terrible teams.

    In all reality the Nets are likely shipping 3 straight top 5 picks to Boston.

    Ohh this is glorious, hadn't even paid attention....

    The Nets traded the pick that was Lillard to us for Gerald Wallace and then sent Wallace as part of that package for Garnett and Company.

    horrible at the time, even worse now

    reminded me of the eddy curry to NY deal for what ended up being the #2 overall, and then swapping the #23 for the #9 the next year.
