They lost to a (much) better team. No shame in that. I wanted them to win, but in reality, they have no business being in the 2nd round let alone the playoffs. On to bigger and hopefully better things. Git-r-dun Olshey!
I hate some of the people who post on this forum. I actually hate them. Not like, haha forum hate. I HATE them. This team worked its ass off against the best team in the league. The reigning champs. The team that just broke the wins record. We took them to OVERTIME with the fucking MVP in the lineup. What do some of these people do? Bash on Dame. You people make me sick. You aren't fans of this team. You revel in misery. You thrive in failure. I hope you Dame haters fall down a well.
Super proud. Heck of a showing against the league's best. Sucks to lose but this kind of experience is invaluable.
Indeed Sly, indeed. While they were VERY frustrating to watch at times, they were also a joy to watch. This team has a bright future. How bright and for how long remains to be seen. As much as I hate staying up to get my heart broken, I couldn't be more prouder of how this team fought against the champs. My hats off to Steph. Despite how I feel about their bandwagon fans, I have ZERO hatred for the Warriors even though Klay and Draymond can act like bitches (would still love them to be Blazers though). I hope Steph stays healthy so they can beat the shit out of the Cavs. Fuck their fans and fuck Dan Gilbert. I'm so sick of LeBron getting cakewalks through the East. Nonetheless, with the amount of cap space we have, I am SOOOOOO looking forward to what Olshey will do to upgrade this team during free agency.
Just no giving up... This team just embodies Rip City. Our time is coming, I feel it... All the downs and going to start flipping up.
Extremely proud of this team, gave their best in all games against the best team in NBA when everyone expected blowouts. With just a little bit more luck and concentration we would be looking at 3-1 Blazers lead now. It's a very young side with little experience, the best is yet to come. I genuinely believe that if you added a good big man to this team you'd be looking at contenders in the not too distant future.
Being in the second round with an incomplete roster. That's pretty damn impressive. My faith in Stotts is affirmed. It's up to Olshey in the off-season but all things considered it'd a good day to be a Blazer. We lost to a way more talented team with one of the best players of all time. No shame in that, but it's still not hard to feel dissapoint ed.
Hell yeah. Have been wanting to get a Blazers tattoo for a while now, and set up an appointment for this month before the Clippers series was over. Now I'll feel like less of a homer IF we can't pull off the miracle. I guess that's my version of the glass being half full...
Damn... I love this team... This one hurt... Tappin' your fuckin' wrist in our garden... Fuck... I feel you @Natebishop3... Fuck those haters!
The Warriors are a very talented and tough team without Curry. They're damn near unbeatable with him. The guy is just nuts. He consistently hits shots that most people wouldn't even attempt. I knew he was going to be a problem tonight, even rusty, because the guy is just too big of a threat. They immediately gained confidence once he came in. We were killing them. If Curry doesn't play tonight, we win this game.
There were times last year in the playoffs when I knew LMA, Batum, and even Lopez didn't really get that upset over losing. I guarantee you Lillard, CJ, the whole team are just as upset over tonight's loss as we are. It's so refreshing to see a team that gives a shit and appreciates their fans.
We play against this team better than most of the so called elite teams in the league do..that's inspiring to me.
How can anyone talk shit or get down on this team? How can Sinobas type what he says and actually mean it? I didn't see the game but this team all season and all playoffs has shown nothing but heart and fight in them. They rose up when no one gave them a fighting chance. This is a team we can have fun watching for many years. It is up to Olshey to complete it to get us to the elite tier with the warriors and spurs.
