I was the statistician for my high school (because I have a shoulder injury and the coach wants me to learn the plays) so I know what the stats were. Our opponents' home court was shorter than a normal high school court as to allow many more possessions. I am the only person on my team who plays defense so with me injured the team just fast breaked every play. Our team was able to get off any shot we wanted..... unfortunately we didn't make them. We shot 18/69 from the field, or 26%. The pathetic part is that we only lost by 2! We shot 26% from the field and we only lost by 2. It was the most pathetic showing I have ever seen in a basketball game. Bar none. I almost could have done better with my torn rotator cuff than our shooting guard who was 6/23 from the field.

I got 47 points...my friend got 20 something including a game winnng 3.

Re: Worst Basketball Game You've ever witnessed Well at elementary school we had houseleague basketball teams, and my team was just horrible. One game we had like almost 30 turnovers. And our shots werent going in, I was the only one scoring and we lost our games. But 30TO is just ridiculous, first time I was on a team with that many turnovers and defensive missqs. I remeber one guy always passing it to the outlet once when the opposing team scored and he'll always throw it too dam far. Next thing I knew I was traded to my friends team and we ended up being unbeaten and were champs of the school. My friend had like 15 assist and a double double, while I just kept scoring for the team, cause I was the best shooter and know one wanted to guard me cause ill jsut explode on you an get fouled. That was a memorable day.

However, this was after a 4-game losing streak, so it didn't seem like a big deal, especially since our Varsity team got slaughtered in all 4 of those losses and then lost another 2 games in a row.</span>
