OK OK basically it's not a team comparison it it a Fan comparison his time who has the better fans Suns or Lakers(ohh I'm going to get killed for this. I'm prolly going to get shot on tuesday.)
I hate the Lakers fans but it's really tough to argue with some of the Suns fans that have joined this site. :no1: The Lakers have a lot of bandwagoners but they support their team well. The Suns have some good fans but Phoenix is tough, if you aren't playing well then no one in the state really pays much attention to the team at all.
Neither. The average Suns/Lakers fans I've met usually have some homer-ish remarks to say to eachother which is all goodie goodie and funny for the first two or three times, then it gets old.
How are you supposed to compare fans? There are millions of them. You can't judge an entire group based on a couple of retards you meet on the internet. Beyond that, where do you draw the line between fan and not fan. What if you watch a team 10-15 times a year. Are you a fan? What if you sort of like the team, but don't care all that much? You can't judge who is a fan and who isn't a fan in some cases, and beyond that, you can't judge an entire group of people based on .000001% of it who you've come in contact with. That being said, Suns fans suck.
This is a stupid thread. This is for comparing players and teams not...fans. But obviously I have to say the Lakers. We have had more success and have been a team for alot longer. We have fans in every city. If you watch any Laker away game there is always a handful of Laker fans there. Yes, sadly we have some bandwagoners and ignorant fans but so do the Suns' fans. Like the Suns' fan who made this thread 'mikster100' this guy is a complete idiot...I remember in one post he said Kobe was a nobody and that the Lakers would end up being one of the worst teams in the league. Ignorant fans like these are what make us the better fans.
I like Laker fans a lot.. a lot of them are homers but they are very knowledgable of the game at the same time, as well.
Well, there was almost no such thing as a suns fan prior to nash on the one hand so they ain't that loyal, but Lakers fans tend to be douches, but lakers fans also tend to be more knowledgeable on average than most fans, but they also are frontrunners. It's hard to say. It's a wash. Neither team has good fans really.

The funniest thing is that suns fans talk as if their team is a dynasty. You got to realgm and they have so many cocky fans. Fact is that the suns haven't sniffed the finals for the last decade.
I don't think they act like they have a dynasty but act like they have one of the best teams in the league, which is true. What's really funny is that Lakers fans still think they are really good but all the winning is in the past now and the dynasty ended when Shaq left.

Our team is in the top two teams to ever originate in the NBA. We have 14 NBA titles and have been to the Finals many more times. We expect to win the championship every year, which we should expect because of success in the past. Suns' fans act cocky because they don't get to have a successful team too often and think that they are actually good fans when they boo other players of other teams because they think that player is arrogant or whatever. That shows ignorance and intolerance to other teams which makes them homers themselves. Espacially, when the players on their team are the arrogant and forceful ones I.e Raja Bell. Laker fans are among the most knowledgable fans in NBA. We actually fight for our players and call out others who go against our team. Just look at ASUfan all he does is mildly defend statments against him and then says something sarcastic or points fun at Laker fans because of the insecurites of his own and his team who has never been won a title in it's history. He will know what real pride is once his team has been won titles and actually has that type of success in today's generation of basketball.
here's the thing I think that really separates the fans is that the Suns fans boo a selfish, egotistical, arrogant, cold blooded rapist* who flies a helicopter to games and incites feuds while the Lakers fans boo an underdog humanitarian, selfless, egoless, friendly canadian who drives a '94 nissan to games and said he didn't deserve the MVP.* - and yes I know kobe isn't a rapist and that he was innocent, that was just to make a point

We are happy our team is doing well, we expect a championship this year too. Just because you guys won in the past doesn't make you guys special. It's just funny how you guys love Kobe so much and get made at anyone who says anything bad about him. I'm sure you guys hate players too. Kobe is a dirty, cocky player and if your team is in a rivalry with his then you are obviously going to hate him. Fans of other teams hate him because of that too. Sure, if he was on my team I would love him, but really some Lakers fans hate Nash but would love him as their point guard. It's not like people hate Kobe for no reason, he's a lot more dirty on the court as Raja is but you always give him excuses for everything. I don't have any insecurities about my own team. I don't really care about the past, right now I know my team is better than yours so it doesn't matter to me. Some of the teams I like have won championships so I know how that feels and it's nice.Laker fans are knowledgeable huh? I don't see it...unless knowledgeable means cocky in LA.

Speechless. Laker fans don't boo Nash either. Kobe is not selfish(just look at his passing this season) he's not egotistical...you don't even know him. Kobe is the nicest person when interviewed etc. So how the F*ck would you know? Kobe is arrogant...but that is what I love. Jordan was just as arrogant so if you think it's ok for MJ, it is ok for Kobe. Cold-Blodded rapist? He was aquitted and there was hardly any evidence of force and the woman also had sex with 3 other people that night. Flies helicoptors to games, talk about being smart. He saves alot of time instead of driving and is at games way ahead of time. If you have ever seen Los Angeles traffic (worst in the counry) then you would understand. Also, like I said, we don't boo Nash.
