I hate these west coast games. i just can't stay awake.

RHP - Chad Green (MLB debut)

    VS.

    LHP - Robbie Ray (1-2, 4.84 ERA)

NOTE: Green went 2-3 with a 1.22 ERA in 7 games for SWB, striking out 36 batters in 37 innings.

    Lineups to follow...............

Yeah the West Coast games during the week are tough. No reason to try and stay up until 1:00am for a regular season baseball game.

Try keeping track on +9hr time zone. I'll likely catch the last inning or two when I wake up in the morning on the following day, lol!

+6hr for home games are only manageable for day games as it is.

Line is on Arizona, don't know much about either starter. Yankees can leave the cellar if they can punch out a couple wins coupled with Tampa losses.

I liked Lincecum, couldn't see him in any uniform but that of San Francisco. In conjunction with his three championships there were trials and tribulations, really popular with the fans. If he gets signed with the Angels I wish him the best unless it is against the Yankees.

the couple years living on the East Coast, were brutal for Yanx games on the West Coast; equally as bad for MNF-

I gotta' agree with You also Rick. Linceum IMO is much better off in Frisco than Anaheim. I'd much rather see Tim in the shadows of Righetti and Bochy, than any P coach aligned with Sciosa. Sciosa IMO, has too often mirrored the 'Lasorda-Perranoski' school, of abusing and burning out Pitcher's, use them 'til their arms fall off, or turn to rubber....

Tote, does ESPN and MLB broadcast often in Germany???
Just curious as to what the pulse is, for MLB in Germany.

Geezus, games must start (if a live broadcast) at what, say 3-4,am for Right Coast games, and begin with the Sunrise, for Left Coast...?

Five hours difference between Germany and the US. World Series Games starting at 8 Eastern would start at 1 am over Armed Forces Network. Bitch to follow the season over there in the Seventies.

Nice to know the Yankees strengthened their grip on last place.

A 12-2 blowout & Phil Coke reminded Yankee fans why he WAS an Ex Yankee. Another great Cashman pick up.

Steinbrenner: Well Brian how is our team doing?
Cashman: Sir we have last place locked up
Steinbrenner: Bully for you my boy, last place is better than those middle of the pack nobodys.

Yeah Michael unless Tampa bay gets hot, I think we have a good chance of taking last place this year. HOO-RAY!!!!!

If we pull it off it will be the 1st time since 1990 (67-95) that the Yankees finished in last place. A team that was offensively led by Jesse Barfield with 25 HRS & a relief pitcher (Lee Guetterman) led the team in wins with 11.

Well put. Puts things in petspective. I think The Boss would've dumped Cashman prior to this season and if not, he would've surely had some choice words today for him and the team. We know Hal & Hank will never be confused with their father and I think they are much more sympathetic towards Cashman because they (imo) feel some guilt over "some" of the big signings which were their call.

No excuse for Cashman for THIS team at THIS point. His fingerprints are all over it and it's obvious they're on pace to be considerably worse than last year's team. This is the bottom line.

I like the Castro signing but aside from that this team is just not built to succeed. Maybe the older guys on this team should find out what David Ortiz is taking.
