But when you play with Kobe or Harden you just don't expect that pass to be coming most of the time....turnover..

Horford is cool but he's cool in the whiteside way, meaning not really realistic. I don't see either guy leaving their current teams. Howard is the most realistic option on the FA market. I think he ends up in either Portland or Charlotte.

I think Olshey will make a run at Dwight, and if that doesn't work out he'll circle back to Monroe or maybe give Larry Sanders a call.

Dwight is not without flaws, but he's such a massive upgrade Olshey would almost be irresponsible not attempting it. And like I said, I doubt it'll take a max contract. Acquiring a true difference maker without giving up assets is an opportunity that might not come around again.

Horford is by far the best big out their.

Horford has the advantage over Howard in these categories:
    3 Point Shooting
    Mid Range Shooting
    Free Throw Shooting
    Passing
    Dribbling
    Perimeter Defense
Overall Defense (2.6 DBPM to Howards 1.8)

    They're even in:
    Rim Protection
    Inside Finishing

    Dwight has the advantage in...
    Rebounding

I know which one I'd rather have, especially for Stott's Offense.

The Hawks just got absolutely dominated by the Cavs for the 2nd straight year and the East is getting better. I say there's a 60% chance for him to leave, with us being the favorite to sign him.

Sorry to burst your bubble but if we keep Harkless, Leonards, and Crabbe's hold while signing Whiteside, we'd have about $4M in cap space. Millsap makes $20Mish. we'd only trade out $5M. We'd need to trade out an extra $9M.

If we traded out Davis instead of Plumlee and didn't resign on of Harkless/Leonard we could make that work.

I think an under the radar Olshey move to get bigger would be Mozgov. His value is super low right now, he is a HUGE dude and would give really good depth to the frontcourt.

Ideally, we trade Plumlee for a mid to late first round pick along with a future 1st or at least the rights to swap. We draft Taurean Prince, then sign Horford and bring everyone back except Roberts, Kaman, and Henderson. We sign Langston Galloway with the cap space exception

    Lillard / Galloway
    McCollum / Crabbe / Connaughton
    Aminu / Prince / Montero
    Harkless / Davis / Alexander
    Horford / Leonard / Vonleh

Mozgov isn't good... You wanna go big you keep Meyers. Meyers has a more positive impact on the team than Mozgov would.

I hope Horford watched us against The Warriors, and every time Plumlee got stuffed he thought, "Man, if only the Blazers had me we'd be kicking their ass." :)

Honest to God I think both Shaq and Barkley were fantasizing about suiting up for us against the Warriors. If any big active in the NBA saw us I bet* they felt the same thing.

    *not an actual bet.
