Since this is the first post I'll just throw a topic out there. What does everyone think of Homicide winning the RoH World Title? The guy definitely deserves it and is more than talented enough to hold it, but I don't see him being a long-term champ like Danielson or Joe. I think he'll probably drop it to someone like Colt Cabana or Davey Richards. I remember reading that Gabe didn't want to put the title on any TNA talent for too long because you never know what could happen to their push. Right now Homicide is getting a good push in TNA so his credibility isn't at risk.

I think this could have gone in the other topics already made as it could be lost in the shuffle after a while in Off-Topic.But I'll bite in any wrestling topic. On Homicide, guy deserves the ROH title as he's never held one and has been with the company through and through. I love how TNA allows their talent to go over and work other shows. I get why WWE doesn't(possible injury), but it's great to see a promotion allow the smaller ones their homegrown talent. Akin to WWF/ECW in a way.As for how long his title reign. I could see a decent run, but not like Danielson's. Maybe 2 months at best imo. As for the person to defeat him when that time comes. Colt is definately deserving as Homicide was, but I'd like to see the belt around Nigel McGuinness. I think he's a great talent and love his matches. His pure title reign was great, capped off with the unification match against Danielson. Also, I wouldn't mind seeing it around Jimmy Rave. He's a young guy with great potential and might be a good wrestler to give that strap to and run with.Wanted to note I just read about Punk's depush and how he's in the doghouse. Talk about another waste of talent. Although I quit watching WWECW, Punk was the best thing they had going and he's slowly being pushed out of the way for Hardcore Holly.

Vince McMahon is insane. I'm hopeful for Punk though because Triple H won't be able to play his political games nearly as much while he's injured. Punk got his heat for disagreeing with McMahon, so this may just be a short term punishment. He could turn heel and feud with Lashley over the title for Mania. ECW doesn't have too many options at this point.

I haven't watched wrestling in years. Has TNA surpassed WWE as the premier wrestling league?

Rok I read the CM Punk doghouse article thing, Finlay/Arn Anderson<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>He could turn heel and feud with Lashley over the title for Mania. ECW doesn't have too many options at this point.</div>I could see Punk turn heel easily. Just with the whole Straight Edge slogan. Just by saying stuff like I dont drink, I dont smoke, blah blah <u>im better than you</u>, turning heel by that. Personally I dont care wether CM is face or heel. I dont care who he feuds with. Cause I know ECW isnt gonna get him anywhere. Even if he holds the ECW championship. Imo, Main Eventing on ECW, is pretty much like jobbing on Veloticy, lol. That shows how much I give a damn about this new ECW. If CM wants to be succcessful, also feel sucessful, get him on Raw or SD. For CM I'd like SD over Raw. Since it seems to be the brand that focus's on younger tallent before they make it to the big time with Raw. So for CM, its just a big clock. Waiting for ECW to die or some genious creative writing to get him off ECW

The sad thing is anyone with half a brain that's seen Punk's work in RoH should realize he has the potential to be huge. Just put a mic in his hand and let him talk. That's all he needs to get himself and whatever feud he's in over. I'd love to see him feud with Ric Flair, who is known for his womanizing and heavy drinking; two things that directly conflict with the straight edge lifestyle. The matches those two could have together would be pretty good as well. Much better than Kenny, who doesn't know the first thing about ring psychology.

I'm pretty surprized if the dirtsheets are true, Arn has a bad judge in talent and writing then.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I haven't watched wrestling in years. Has TNA surpassed WWE as the premier wrestling league?</div>Ratings wise no, and I can't get into TNA. So to some fans you'll get a yes or no. TV wise for me, it's better wrestling. But as a whole, it's not close to ROH/CZW/NOAH

But alot of people dont know the stuff behind him. His past with ROH. Sicne ECW tapes with SD, its just abunch of 13 year olds and momsGreat idea on a Flair/Punk aproach. It fits perfect. Cause everything Flair is with drinking, ect. Punk is the exact opposite. Well, thats atleast what his gimmick preaches. I bet those two feuding together would put on some great matches. Would be a great push for Punk to start a real career in the WWE, ECW doesn't count and to feuding with one of the greats in the business

I know most fans aren't as familiar with Punk's work as I am. His character does needs to be re-introduced and familiarized with WWE's audience, but that can be done within a month. What I was trying to point out is that for anyone who has seen his RoH work, which presumably is WWE management, his talent is undeniable. There are very few guys that can cut a promo as good as Punk, and the one's who can, are all former World Champions. Jobbing him to a career mid-carder like Hardcore Holly makes no sense whatsoever, but nothing in WWE-land these days ever does. Also, Punk is really straight edge. It's not just a gimmick.

Well. We've had our fair share about talking about CM Punk. In this thread and in the other one. SO to start new stuff what do you guys think about the mentioned names for TNA...Chris Benoit, Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, Sabu, RVDChris Benoit-Him being my favorite wrestler, I would probably watch TNA every Thusday. WWE useruses him as a US champ and Benoit in my view should be main eventing since his come backRey Mysterio-Big name, big loss if he goes TNA. As much as I love to watch Rey in a match. Something inside of me wants him to go TNA. Just cause WWE needs to competition to spice up their gameChris Jericho-I could likely see him going TNA. I would love to see him back in the E though. Raw needs a superstarSabu-Already had his time in TNA. Idk why he would go back. But he needs to leave WWECWRVD-Its obvious he doesn't wanna be there. I hope he leaves asapOh and btw, Maquis Corvon debut as Monty Brown on ECW tonight, lol

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Chris Benoit, Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, Sabu, RVD</div>I think RVD is the most probable of the ones to jump. Sabu could follow, but he was already in TNA and was not pushed. He was given decent matches at least though with the Monster's Ball. So he's a maybe for me. Jericho is the one I would like to see back in WWE or TNA. I bet he makes his way back to WWE instead, money talks.Mysterio will probably be the guy TNA wants the most and they'll go after him. Dirtsheets says WWE will bury him if he decides to not sign an extension. Hard one, Rey got a push as a champion but one of the weakest ever imo. Benoit is the least likely imo, he's in a comfort zone and I don't see him leaving any time soon.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Oh and btw, Maquis Corvon debut as Monty Brown on ECW tonight, lol</div>The Pounce arrived? Too bad I don't care about the show.

The only reason I see Benoit leaving is Kurt Angle. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Pounce arrived? Too bad I don't care about the show.</div>Along with Cassidy O'Riley
