Don't know if this is a 'superstation' game or not, but I'm enjoying it. Ben G starts and Tryus gets some early tick...Manu went out with a knee injury but I think he will be o.k.
Great game so far.. the announcers sure love talking about ben gordon starting or playing as a reserve.
Tyrus NEEDS minutes. If this game does not prove it, what does?Ohhh..Tyrus got another block! But Ben hit the deck hard...
Graet win for the Bulls, I think Ben G made a case for starting and both P.J and Tyrus made a case for more on court time. :happy0144:
I really like PJ Brown's job in guarding Tim Duncan today. He did a good job covering for Ben Wallace. Tyrus for sure made a case for alot more playing time.
Hopefully Skiles starts Tyrus from now on..or at least give him more tick. Ben Gordon will probably start from now on..
I doubt it. This was just one game, Im sure Skiles wont start Tyrus just because of one game.. possibly more minutes though. The only reason Gordon is starting is because Duhon is sitting out so dont expect Gordon to start every game from now on.

I mean he proved hes ready, he just gets off to slow starts every year...As for Tyrus, if he does not get more court time I willc ertainly make numerous refrences to how quickly Skiles should get the boot, I love coaches like PJ and Larry Brown, but hate when they don't give the younger guys a shot. Just ask Larry Hughes....

So that assesment is incorrect. Puting Duhon back in would be assanine seeing how Gordon is the same player now starting compared to not starting. Also, Kirk looks much better the last 4 games. He is looking like the Kirk of his rookie year and the 04 season where he actually rebounded quite well, 10 rebounds tonight. Impressive I must say but he just needs to find that consistency and meet somewhere in the middle around 16 ppg 7 apg 4 rpg would be nice. I don't think you could ask for much more than that.I love the way Tyrus plays and IMO you could now make a strong case to continue starting him and put PJ on the bench when Wallace comes back. What I know about Tyrus...GOOD:- Energy Player; he can fill up a stat sheet like none other when given minutes- He likes to jump- He can block any shot from all angles and on ANY player in the league. He should have had 6 blocks today but 2 of them were called goaltendings.- He is so quick to the rim he can grab 5 rebounds in 2 minutes if he boxes his man out he can rise over anyone.BAD:-He has no outside shot out of 5 feet- He rushes everything he does; that will come with more PT- Fouls an awful lot but I think the refs are screwing him on ocassions plus he's a rookie- Has no post game at all right now other than a pretty solid spin move but he goes out of control alot and gets the offensive fouls called on him- His ball handling is somewhat like Ben Gordon's was his rookie year except a little worse. He has nice moves but like I said he is out of control and dribbles through traffic. He has a lot to learn but if he gets 15-20 minutes a game alot of his mental mistakes will magically dissapear and after his 1st one or two years he will stop getting those rookie calls on him. I hope he can gradually improve into the superstar he can be.
tyurs is a hyper rookie so hes gonna rush things.. But you got to give him sometime. Skiles takes it easy on him if you ask me. Some people say he should be better for a 20year old but hes still really young.. And it doesn't take big guys that long to become better has it would a smaller person. So I think when hes 22 he should be alot better and not rushing everything.
I agree, In 2 years I can foresee him being that 25 and 11 guy we all invision him being as his max potential. He can be as dominant as Amare Staudemire if he bulks up a bit and hopefully grow a tad bit more as he can, he's still young. Im not saying in 2 years he will average 25 and 11 but I think he will show signs of it by then.

I can live with him getting 15 and 8 in 2years.</div>Lol did you read what I typed? I said, Im not saying he will get 25 and 11 in 2 years, but he will show "SIGNS" of it.
Yeah I saw what you said.. Anyone can show signs of being that. If its like that Gordon shows signs of being a 30ppg and 5 ast player.Only way tyurs can get that is if he becomes the goto player.. which he wont.
