Tough Injured Cut him some slack Clangus. He's a defensive presence, he's big, and he's very tough. He was not a wasted pick. He has been hurt all year and he's playing limited minutes right now because of it. He's still playing through the pain.

he could of been good if he went to college...or if they played him his first few years...he had potential but he only played in 10 games for 3.5 MPG in his rookie year..that was what really ruined himhes a beast on the boards but he could of used that experience

He was a late first round pick out of high school with no offensive game (still doesn't have one) and he was very much overweight then. He ended up working very hard, losing weight and toning out, and he earned his minutes. In his first two seasons, he had to play behind Mark Blount in 03-04 (who had a GREAT year that year), Raef LaFrentz, Walter McCarty, Chris Mihm. Hell, even Brandon Hunter had a solid rookie year with us. In 04-05, he had Blount/Raef again plus Antoine Walker for half a season, and Al Jefferson (who surprised people his rookie year). Perk should not have been playing much in his first two years, and nothing has "ruined" him at all. He had a good year last season, and the only thing slowing him down this year is the plantar fasciitis.

almost there.it seems like somethings been holding him back his whole career. now that he's finally in shape this plantar fasciitis gets him. I think in his prime he'll contribute as a bruiser who can bring down 8-10 rebounds every night while swatting 2 shots away.

Thank god Gerald didnt!). But I don't understand why you are saying that he is "ruined" in any way. You are marking him down as a screw-up right now? After the good season he had last year, and the solid year he was having this year until the plantar fasciitis kicked in? Perk is not "ruined" in any way, shape, or form, and he has not reached his peak as a basketball player yet. He should be a senior in college right now, as well. Perk will be fine, he just needs to bounce back from this injury. He's obviously still playing hurt, which is why he has only been getting 13-14 mpg.
