Yep. You're looking at guys like Whiteside (age 26), Biyombo (age 23), and Ezeli (age 26). Whiteside is really the only guy in that group I think justifies the max. Heck, Biyombo might get that with his recent playoff performance.

Woo hoo! Post 1,001. Now I'm officially a big time nerd like most of this group. It only took me since Dec 2011 to get this many posts. Now I can finally stop focusing on volume posting, and start focusing on only posting quality content. :)

    My votes would be:
    1st team
    Steph, Russel, LBJ, Green, Cousins

    2nd team
    Dame, Kley, George, Milsap, Drummond

    3rd team
    Lowry, Derozan, Leonard, Durant, Duncan

LOL No Paul? He is easily the best 2 way PG guard in the league.

Yep; I'm secretly glad our budget situation doesn't really let us get over-excited and make some dumb move for an overpriced vet.

Yeah, Im sorry, but as mich disdain I have for Paul he is hands down better than either Canadian player on that third team at the very least.

I think the All NBA voting is starting to reward team success, the way MVP voting always has. There isn't a single player on the three all NBA teams that didn't make the playoffs. I'm fine with that. HOU severely underachieved and a lot of that was Harden's lack of leadership, poor defense and inability to play nice with others.

It does beg the question, when was the last time a player finished 2nd in the league in scoring, but didn't even make 3rd team All NBA?

Or the last time a healthy player didn't make the all-star team and was an NBA second team selection

Or better still, the last time a healthy player didn't make the all star team and was FIRST team All NBA.

So, who was the bigger all star snub, DeAndre Jordan (1st Team All NBA) or Damian Lillard (2nd Team All NBA)?

Damian, easily. Deandre isn't a great player, really, offensively.

Or that he didn't expect Dame to make an All-NBA team, which is also a perfectly reasonable assumption going into the season.

I'm looking at all the all-nba teams... I'd have to match up the all star teams and see...

"Lillard will get about $23 million more over his five-year contract thanks to the "Rose Rule."

I thought it was just a bonus this year.... a 23 million bump that hinged on some voters.....that must have been nerve racking for him. That is huge.

OKay, so is it $23 mill or $12.5 mill ? Several posts prior to yours are pretty much confirming $12.5 mil.. Huge difference there.
