Joe Johnson did something similar years ago when he was with the Suns He left and signed with the lowly Hawks to be the man. I am not saying DeRozan will bail, just it has happened before a good playoff team to a bad team.
I could see it happening. Though it's not like he isn't a focal point here in Toronto. It's always been a "if you want to dominate, feel free" attitude with DeMar on offense. If he is dead set on being the man he can do better than Philadelphia.
