Is there anyway the Blazers sign Kevin Durant?

It absolutely defines him as a player. If the Thunder lose tommorow that franchise is DONE.

Nope. Might as well move the franchise if they lose. Durant and Westbrook will leave and no one will go there ever.

What is his defining moment as a player in this league? He hasn't had one. Nor has Westbrook. The big time stars have those memorable moments. Tomorrow is one of those nights when Durant has an opportunity to have one of those moments. It's weird but whoever thought there'd be a game in which Durant was the 4th best player on the floor?

Wow, that's something that might make a guy want to leave town. Imagine if he has a heroic game 7 and the Thunder win.

It is the most recent definition. In a close-out game, at HOME, he came up just above snake eyes. Had a lot of points on a TON of shots making a terrible percentage. Some clutch performance in a regular season game against the Bucks isn't quite the same.

Only way I see this happening is if the media and fans in OKC use him as a scapegoat. I still see him signing a two year deal with a player option on the second.

It will just be super embarassing. Point of no recovery.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
The takes in this thread are absolutely sizzling!

Let me go a bit further...Durant actually makes his teams worse. The Thunder would be better off without him and the Blazers would absolutely take a step backwards if they signed him as a free agent. You all saw game 6...no further argument necessary.

Durant has failed time and time again to win it all. What will be new? There's only a number of times before you need to give up. Plus its absolutely embarassing to lose being up 3 to 1.
