All part of the ludicrous "bribe Portland officials for tax avoidance scam" I warned you Daimler groupies of in the other Daimler thread. I told you they were liars and would not create a single new job in Portland. It appears they have outdone themselves this time. A criminal fraud investigation would commence immediately, were it not for the bribes.
Its a contract year. They are trying to scare the employees so there isnt a strike. Most of these guys will probably be rehired by july 1st when the new contract is signed.
