See that's something I simply don't allow. Parents can say (almost) anything they want to me. Threatening a kid...? That's a warning and then you can exit the gym.

Exactly how do you come by this power? (The question does not mean I am disagreeing with you).

He can forfeit the game for that team I assume. Parent doesn't leave, team loses. Then we see it on the news when the big brawl goes down.

A referee has the power to have security escort an unruly fan out of the gym. It's rare but it could happen depending on what's said. If the people are literally threatening violence I'd have that authority.

I'd never do that. It would never come to that. I wouldn't penalize kids for their idiot parents.

I wouldn't expect you to, just thought that was in your power. Tossing a parent with no way to enforce it would be hard.

I could hold the game up until the parent leaves. I could cause a forfeit as well. I'd do the former, not the latter even though (depending on the situation) I have the power to do either.

Also, if I'm assaulted at a game the perp is prosecuted to the fullest extent and I get a $2K check from the state.

    SO COME AT ME BRO!!

If it was just the money and no jail I'd smack you for 750. You deserve more than half since you'd be the one getting hit.

    Bad: Woefully underpaid.

Good: Dealing and working with people I like. Plus it can be fun seeing our products from the early concept stages turn develop into some really cool retail displays.

That is always a cool feeling! But not so good in final results. I developed a product in the 70s and it became the source for the first ad IBM ever ran on TV for the show, a Man for All Seasons. I was please no end to see that ad run, damn that was great!! Then I think back on the whole gig, I stayed there too long making them big bucks.

She's right of course. It's probably rude of me to butt in.

I had a good business doing online classes for people I work with and then another guy started doing them too. I couldn't compete with that, he charged less while doing it on the job. I had to do it after work. I did, however lower my price enough that he had to drop his to less than I originally charged, so I took him down some for a moral victory.
