This was a horrible tragedy...it sickens me...I'm spoiled by growing up in a country where shit like this wasn't supposed to happen at home. I thought about countries like Israel and England where bombings were a regular thing and how detached I seemed from them...now it's close to home. There's no way to make any sense out of madness like the killing of innocent people in a public place..where's the humanity? RIP to all those killed and I wish a speedy recovery to those in critical condition.

There is a lot of stuff here and I'm sorry. I sat around a bit this morning watching YouTube and angry people caught on camera. I hate to say it but we are a country of morons. 2 things stand out in your post, first...people calling for death penalties for being gay. We used to have institutions that these people should be in. They are clearly mentally ill. It is sad that someone would even say that. The thing that really stands out to me and is probably the least important is something that just strikes me as bizarre. I've never thought about my personal equipment turning a lesbian straight. I am flabbergasted that anyone would say that. Just bizarre, the things other people have to hear that I'd never imagine. Oh fuck, one more thing I guess.
