Why is it that when teams we don't like are winning is always because they're lucky? maybe they're just good?
They've were getting all the bounces up until that point.. Wining with a minute left and then in overtime. Nobody said they aren't good
Eh who cares they won. Good for the vets in the team like Cullen, Fehr, Hags, Daley, Kessel, etc.. Kessel shut critics up which is cool No excuses next year no matter what the team looks like. Pitt proved you don't have to have the best team on paper to win
Nobody cares and probably nobody in the country for the most part was watching. Said it many times. Only time hockey was ever hot in this country is when the Rangers won the cup.
sadly even as a devils fan i must agree. i do think it was a perfect storm though that allowed it to happen. if the rangers won the cup a few years earlier or a few years later i dont think it would've been as big as it was in terms of "hot across the country"
