Bad people shouldn't have good guns.

Why not just detain them infinitely without any due process. Hell, an investigator in a government agency is good enough to take away someone's civil rights.

How about this, if you're on the no fly list you are banned from going on the internet. You will most likely be contacting other terrorists so therefore, it is bad.

    Are these US citizens?

I know the freakshow from the other day was. If not, deport them.

If they are citizens prove they've done something wrong or leave them alone. Or keep an eye on them, whatever but don't infringe on their rights because they are on some list.

They can't go to mosques either. Or rock concerts, that music is aggressive.

There may be circumstances, but I'm pretty sure the government doesn't put most people on a no fly list just because they feel like it. There could be people on a no fly list for reasons that wouldn't make you question whether or not they should own guns, but I'm sure there are also those on the no fly list who you would not want owning a gun.

So, then...what is the due process? An agency decides you should be punished with any trial or input on your part? The government decides that you shouldn't be able to do something?

If there is a good reason, arrest them for something.

I see something on the news about a suspect getting kicked in the head. I don't know where or why but I do know that there are criminals I DO want kicked in the head.

That doesn't mean the cops should be able to.

Maybe they were arrested and served their sentence. Does that mean that they have changed and should now be able to buy guns?

That means you're also on the Two Gun list.

    Congrats!

In a 2010 report, the Government Accountability Office noted that "Membership in a terrorist organization does not prohibit a person from possessing firearms or explosives under current federal law," and individuals on the No Fly List are not barred from purchasing guns.[19] According to GAO data, between 2004 and 2010, people on terrorism watch lists—including the No Fly List as well as other separate lists—attempted to buy guns and explosives more than 1,400 times, and succeeded in 1,321 times (more than 90 percent of cases).[20]
