I like the Chinese prospect better as a PF.

He's way too slow to play PF and way to skinny to play C.

Up until two weeks ago many here thought Malachi Richardson would be a great option to replace Crabbe should he sign elsewhere -- Malachi's stock has skyrocketed (according to Ford and Stein) to the point where the people they talk to fully expect Richardson to go top-10.

Fwiw Neil & Co. interviewed Richardson at the combine.

Taurean Prince is also rising - Toronto likes him at #9.

Sabonis will only workout for four teams: Boston, Phoenix, Utah, Toronto

Tacko Fall took his lunch money earlier this year.

Fall will be lucky to get drafted next year.

Didn't Hibbert and Gobert lack speed and coordination initially? Maybe he'll be another Shawn Bradley and never improve on the athletic components, but some of those tall trees have put in the work to be passable in that respect.

    Edit: Hell, and Marc Gasol.

There's a lot of wild cards in this years draft. A lot of guys that have a very wide draft range. Prince, Richardson, Valentine, Baldwin, Sabonis, Chriss.

*Sabonis has a promise in the top-12 -- Raps or the Magic

*Georgios Papagiannis has a late first promise -- Celtics, Memphis, Philly

*Ulis has a hip condition that will need surgery down the road. He could slide out of the first - red flag?

*Outside Qi, Cornelie, Luwawu most of the international guys have "soft promises" in the first.

Damian Jones is so intriguing. He has the tools to be a very good two way center. Would love it if neal found a way to nab him in the middle/late first. Draft ceiling is #10 to the Bucks and don't think he falls past the Hornets at #22.

For those that haven't seen much of him, here's a full game I found on YT:

Very involved early so you don't need to watch much of it to get a feel for his game. His defensive rebounding numbers are a bit low, but as you'll notice, he plays away from the rim a lot defensively (at least in this game) and is asked to switch a lot on pnr's. Not surprising as he has great agility for a guy his size.

-Sabonis to the Raptors makes too much sense. They need a PF, and JonasV is Lithuanian along with Sabonis.

-Papagiannis has a first round promise? That's shocking to be honest. No clue where he could go.

-Luwawu to the Bulls makes a ton of sense. He'd probably be their starting SF next year.

Damian Jones is the guy I hope Neil finds a way to nab in the mid to late first. Would be good to have a full size center.

Jones is Steven Adams-esque. Being that he's 6'11" with a 7'4" wingspan his reach is on the small side for s center: 8'11"

Yes that is short. In comparison..... Aminu has a 9'.05 " standing reach. But I will say Jones' no step vertical is above average for his size at 36".

Good, I would be happy to get Cornelie in the 2nd round and stash him (or does that mean he got a "hard promise"?).

I see now that Draft Express has moved him Cornelie out of the first round into the 38 slot. A 20 year old guy that tall and athletic and fluid who shoots the three, I would sure take him there.
