I know this should probably be in the knicks forum but I put it here because I don't think many people would look at it if it were there and I want to know what everyone thinks of eddy and the way he's playing this season as well as his future.the dude is straight up ballllllinnnn. his average is up to 19 ppg and improving his rebounding with 7.3 a game. while his defense is still not very good he is improving in at that area. most people outside of new york don't really know this but eddy has a totally different mind set now and he is more determined to get things done offensively and defensively. after losses he has taken blame saying he could've did more. eddy is probably the one of the most humble people around. you wouldn't think so because he's so big but he got picked on as a kid. he was always missing that fire in his game. he needed to be aggressive and make his presence felt without being too aggressive. q rich has known him since back in the day when they played AAU ball together. he said he always rode eddy because of his potential, recently q rich said he's more determined now and he is taking on the role of being the face of this team. before this season everyone thought eddy was just an overweight tumbler reject. Yeah he wanted to be a tumbler when he was a kid haha. also with that heart condition everyone thought isiah was an idiot for trading his lottery pick, tyrus thomas, and those other scrubs, sweetney and tim thomas. well eddy is on the verge of dominating the eastern conference I think. in 2 or 3 seasons if he improves his rebounding and defense he's gonna be right behind dwight howard as a dominanting presence. people just brush off curry as a HS bust but I think he is blossoming into the player everyone thought he was going to be. he doesn't pick up those offensive fouls as often as he used to. he was usually good for about 2 a game. he is more composed down low and despite the double teams he continues to get over 20 points a night.now I'm being serious, am I just being an overly excited knicks fan or eddy curry going to be legit?last 26 games......... 22.3 ppg and 7.8 rpg

I give props to Isiah Thomas and Eddy Curry THIS YEAR!!!! Until the guy can do it two years in a row, it doesn't mean squat. Is this a contract year for Curry?

Everytime I have watched Curry play, I have been very impressed. He finishes around the basket with a good percentage, his rebounding his getting better, and his aggresivness is really picking up. One thing that I think he could definitely work on is getting in to shape. If his could shed some pounds, his footwork would get better because he would be lighter, and he would be able to run the floor faster. I have been impressed with him as of late, and I think the image of the "lazy bust" has gone away. At least for now...

No hes not in shape.. hes just getting better. When he was with the bulls his body was a lil better. But while he was with us he was fouling alot in the 4th and couldnt hit a shot. 3 years later hes gotten better... which he should of. But I dont think hes in that much shape at all... I mean look at sweetney hes fat as hell.. But when he stays out of foul trouble he plays a good amount of min...But other then that im happy for curry. Even though he was max contract hungry.

He's in shape, but still a fat ass, which helps him a lot. His size makes him easily able to beast people down on the block and get good position for rebounds.

Isiah Thomas has impressed me with the way he works with Eddy Curry. He forces him to play through foul trouble and fatigue, that is something he struggled with throughout his entire career. For once Eddy Curry seems to be having fun on the basketball court, if you Watch enough Knick games you will see him fired up and having fun every single game whether he's having a bad night or not.Eddy Curry's numbers over the past 20-25 games have been amazing, the #1 reason for his high scoring numbers lately are due to the fact that he is getting to the FT line at will. He's been taking 10+ trips to the charity stripe nearly every game and knocking them down. His 36 point game against Milwaukee this year seemed to light a fire under him and boost his confidence up. I don't see why Eddy Curry can't put up 22-10 during the prime years of his career, he's only 24 years old. Eddy Curry has a few more things he needs to work on before he turns into an all star caliber player. He already has a great offensive game with plenty of post moves. He needs to improve his interior defense, take better care of the ball, and rebound the ball on a more consistent level. Curry will give you 12 rebounds one night then give you 3 the next. He has never been a consistent rebounder and that hurts his stock a little bit.If he can improve his interior defense, take better care of the ball, and rebound with more consistency. He will be an all star in this league.

Yeah your right tony. He needs do rebound alot more get some blocks also. Make less turnovers. And I can say when I watch the knicks people on the other team aint scared to take it to curry. And if he can slim down a little so he can be faster that be great.

Yeah that's exactly what I said. I said he needs to improve his rebounding and defense and then he'll get the props he deserves and tony I was at the game where he scored 36 points. the dude was unstoppable that night and he is having fun out there finally.

I like Curry, but this year when we've played the Knicks Jermaine O'neal has been totally tearing him up. There is no way Curry can compete with Jermaine, Dwight Howawrd, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Carlos Boozer...

I'm glad someone is stepping up for the Knicks. Crawford has been inconsistent, and Francis has been hurt for a while. Curry has impressed me this season. I'm rooting for him over that irregular heartbeat.

As a Knicks fan and watching them I know how nice some of their players are their biggest problems are on defense and Isiah Thomas' rotations. He has got to stick with 8-9 guys and give everybody their proper roles in order to continue to be successful.

I have yet to watch Eddy Curry since his big breakout. So I will withhold judgement.
