    Its figures as expected.
Hank Steinbrenner may be a buffoon but at least he did his little part in public when he said:

"RedSox Nation?" What a bunch of bullshit that is," he said in an interview with The New York Times' Play magazine. "That was a creation of the Red Sox and ESPN, which is filled with Red Sox fans". (2008)

And its true - years ago, 1960s,70s,80s I don't remember the words "RedSox Nation" associated with them or their fans and it's a ripoff of the old Oakland Raiders Nation.

...always glad to see Boston lose, but objectively they are better than the Yanx...and will be for the foreseeable future.

And that is what really sucks, other teams getting out there and improving while the current Yankee "Braintrust" sit on their butts and twiddles their thumbs. And though this team could write off '16 by trading some good chips, we are all knowledgeable that Cashman will fuck up the whole thing. Back when the Yankees were successful the formula was play .500 against the contenders and throttle the bottom feeders. This year the formula is play .250 or less against contenders and hope for .750 against pretenders and consider .500 a good tear. Long time Yankee Fans know this is bull shit.

I honestly believe the present Yankee organization is only occupied with its business
operations and not with the development of the team. Their interest is the selling of
the brand, not with improving the team. It is difficult to watch a team the owners are
not willing to make championship caliber. They created the fiscal problems and the
fans are paying for it. It's a no win situation. At this rate, it will take several years
before the Yankees will ride high.
