So you agree with Curry's wife. ;)

Although it seems out of line for her to say what she said, she didn't say anything I haven't said a thousand times.

I was figuring this was going to happen before last nights game
but like said before in this thread, the fact that someone associated with THAT team or even that TYPE of team complaining about nba rigging is stupid as hell. Broad needs to be told "check yo self bitch"

They have done that at every game that I know of. It is awesome, and a very proud feeling.

Awwwwww the poor little Warriors have to deal with what every single team has to deal with when playing them.

    Game 7 baby!! Love it.

Hoping now for a real tight tug-of-war type game that is called fairly and both teams getting after it!!

Generally, I love Game 7 situations. This series has been such a snooze-fest with the blowouts, this just seems like prolonging the agony.

It's going to be tough for the Cavs to win against a see of yellow. I'm hoping they win.

The sad thing is, this is nothing new. SMH

It's got to be hard for players to be on the receiving end of the favoritism for a period of time, then suddenly have the rugged pulled out from under them. Human nature is to throw some form of tantrum I guess. Or mouthpiece at a fan.

(Edit: Haha. I meant 'rug' but 'rigged' must have subconsciously slipped in there. :) Rug + Rigged = Rugged)

"Into the crowd"? That's the league's story?

    Such bullshit.

Curry threw his mouth guard, as hard as he could, on purpose, directly at a specific fan, and struck said fan with it.

What is Silver going to do when someone like Green drills a fan in the face with a basketball? Or kicks one. Or actually physically attacks one?

How are people defending Curry's temper tantrum on the basis of unfair calls? He kept reaching in and grabbing nothing but arm. The only one that seemed questionable was the steal against Kyrie, but even then he made a lot of contact with the left shoulder to impede progress and reach across. On the last call, he grabbed LeBron twice. They let the first, more obvious one go, then said enough is enough.

That's not to say other fouling wasn't going on un-called, but Curry definitely deserved the calls that went against him. I thought it was a fairly officiated game. Cleveland was in first half foul trouble, too, just it was their less important players making the mental mistakes.

The Blazers got MURDERED by the constant arm grab going around the screens in both the Clippers and Warriors series'. The league should really clean that up.

Why would we possibly want a game 7 played without the two past/current MVP's of the league playing?
Suspending Curry for that would be the dumbest thing the league could possibly do.

The league is a joke. It might as well be scripted.

Ok, updated with Game 6 results:

Game 1: GSW wins by 15
Game 2: GSW wins by 33
Game 3: CLE wins by 30
Game 4: GSW wins by 11
Game 5: CLE wins by 15
Game 6: CLE wins by 14

Average margin of victory = 19.7 points. These are supposed to be the two best teams in the league, but that scoring margin is ridiculous. GSW led the league with an average scoring margin of 10.8 points per game during their record setting regular season. CLE had an average margin of victory of 6.0 points per game against the league at large. Now, put the two of them together and the result is not a single close game and an average margin of victory of almost 20 points per game.

This is easily, the most boring 7-game finals ever. Oh sure, you have all the soap opera nonsense. Will Draymond get suspended? Did LeBron disrespect him? Will Curry get suspended for his hissy fit last night? How much will Steve Kerr get fined for criticizing the officials and will his team benefit? But that's not basketball. That's bullshit. The NBA finals have become a reality TV show, and a bad one at that. At least the artificially created drama on most reality TV show creates tension. In this case, it's just added to the boredom of what we're seeing on the court.

I still find the series pretty damn compelling.

As mentioned earlier, all these three point attempts leads to increased variance, and that increases scoring margins. Still exciting to watch though.

Steve Kerr: "Let me be clear, we did not lose because of the officiating," Kerr said. "They totally outplayed us and Cleveland deserved to win. But those three of the six fouls were incredibly inappropriate calls for anybody, much less the MVP of the league."

So you're saying certain players deserve preferential treatment?

I get that it exists, but for a coach to basically cry for it is pathetic.

From a short-term business standpoint, sure. Long term? Does the league really want to encourage this behavior to escalate?
