With all this talk about him getting traded and all that crap. I will say this right now: If Kidd gets traded for nothing else then Steve Nash or a GREAT big man, I will not be a Nets fan anymore. Its bad enough that they are leaving NJ, now if they get rid or Kidd? Im done with this team if they do it.

Suns, they are my second best team right now. Then my second team would be the team Kidd goes to.

LMAO you are such a fake fan JKidd. You would "switch" favorite teams if Jason Kidd were to be traded? That is not a real fan. It's a bandwagoner. You are from New Jersey too, so that makes it even worse.

Wow, sorry I have to agree with CB here. You seem more like a Jason Kidd fan than a true Nets fan. Come on, you have to support your hometown team. You're telling me you wouldn't let Kidd go for some great young talent to help the team in the long run? You guys aren't going anywhere without a bigman anyway. If you can get the right stuff in return for him, I think you have to deal him.

I love the nets, but I cant stand all the losing and the stupid things. Plus they are moving to New York. Thats like your Celtics moving to L.A, once they leave NJ and go to the state that has your most hated team in it, how could you possibly like them? Because I hate the fucken owner and Jay-Z. they are asses. Jkidd is the only thing I like on this team. I dont like Carter and all his lazy ass shots. I dont like RJ, he just isnt the same and dosnt attack the basket anymore. If he goes, there is nothing to like on this team for me anymore. And they wont even be my hometeam anymore, so why would I like them? I will route for them until they leave to NY, then after, they will just become the Knicks to me.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (LightsOut @ Jan 17 2007, 07:11 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Wow, sorry I have to agree with CB here. They dont care about the NJ fans anymore, all they care about is NY. If they made the right trade, we would be title contenders right now. But they just want to build for NY. I hate every NY team there is to hate. If they were still going to stay in NJ, Jkidd wouldnt be leaving.

Making a trade for a superstar big man to help you contend for a title really isn't that easy, and considering you would have to give up either VC or RJ in the process, it wouldn't really make you instant title contenders anyway. It will, however, put you right there for the Eastern Conference title, but the Nets still wouldn't be able to beat Dallas, SA or possibly even PHX in a seven-game series.

No, not for the title, but atleast it gives us a shot in hell. Right now we mine as well just pack it in for the season and go for the first pick in the draft, this team is going nowhere.

    JKidd, give me a break.

    - First of all, yes, the Nets STILL ARE your home team. They won't be moving to Brooklyn for another 2 years.

    - YES... all of the sudden liking a team from Phoenix, when you live in NJ... after "switching" favorite teams = bandwagoner.

    - No, this is NOT like my Celtics moving to LA. You made this topic about changing a team if they trade one player you like on it. If the Celtics traded Paul Pierce tomorrow, I wouldn't stop loving the team. If the Celtics moved to LA, I wouldn't stop loving them either. Why? Because I grew up with them, they are my home team at heart.

    - Third of all, the Celtics aren't moving, and if they did... LA? lol please tell me you know the history behind that. I know it was an example, but still.

Makes no sense.-Im just saying as an example for them moving to a place where your most hated team is.

You have to be a childish idiot to break up a childhood friendship because of a friend saying "F*ck you."

I said I dont know if I could route for them anymore once they move. Its just not the same. No, again they dont. Some like the Knicks, and Lakers. Knicks are not good last time I checked. How? I just liked Nash, I didnt know they would turn into this powerhose team. Its not my fualt Nash turns teams into powerhouses. Im not a bandwagoner, stop saying that. I ment to say if they said F*ck you, get out of my life, I want nothing to do with you. I found something better, and never tried to talk to you again. Thats what the nets are doing by moving to NY in my opinion, but thats just me. And dont call me a bandwagoner, cause that is far from what I am. If I was I would have loved the Lakers when they won 3 striaght (hated them), I would like the Spurs (hate them) or Pistons (hate them). So thats far from being a bandwagoner. I like fastbreak teams with good PGs. Nash did great in Dallas so I figured to cheer for him in Phoenix.

Sorry bro, you are hopping on bandwagons. You even said yourself that you were a Mavs fan when Nash was there... until he moved to Phoenix. Then you became a Nets fan. Now you might be a Suns fan. Give me a break. A true fan sticks with one team through the thick and thin.

Or alteast when our GM Billy King is gone. :HAHAHA:If you were a true Nets fan you would stick with the team. But I understand liking a player I follow AI were ever I always said that. But I will still be a Sixers fan. And you were a real Nets fan you would still cheer for them, and just also follow your fav player for example like me.

I liked Dallas as a second team to root for in the west if the Nets didnt make it. Am I the only one who does that? Last time I checked Tony liked Denver and the 76ers too. I rooted for Nash in dallas and I do the same in pheonix. Maybe I didnt make this clear enough, I would love the nets til the day I died, IF THEY STAYED IN NJ. Right now they are screwing their NJ fans. If you ever watch a game you would see that the stands are empty now becuase they are moving. Obviously im not the only one who feels this way. And stop calling me a fucken bangwagoner, im not. I thought the Suns would suck when Nash went, but I liked them anyway. Hes my second favorite player. Maybe ths will exlain it better. If they traded kidd for young talent and stayed in NJ, they would, with no doubt, be y favorite team still. But now im not to sure they will. If they did trade Kidd and stay, the nets would be my fav, then w.e team Kidd went to would be my second. Then the suns. I dont get why thats soooo wrong.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Serge @ Jan 18 2007, 04:34 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I will always be a Sixers fan, and but I am also just as much a AI fan always will be he is the reason I started watching basketball, but I will still always be a Sixers fan. I can't wait for kidd, carter or rj to get traded so the nets can suck even more!!!! then suck when they come to brooklyn and still not draw any big crowds because they suck.

Carter could be on his way out because he is a free agent next season. RJ, well, I don't see them trading him.Bandwagon fans are something I am used to as a Cavs fan. We got so many LeBron Fans that could care less about Cleveland or anything else. Some think I am that way with Larry Hughes, but I always loved Cleveland, and always will. :dribble:
