No, and she pretty unequivocally ruled it out the other day. Of course she could be interested anyway.

Like claiming you have 10 billion dollars?

Or claiming you give to charity when you don't?

Unlike you, who I don't recall ever speaking out against some of the shitty things Trump has said, I have done so regarding Hillary. I'm not a big fan, but, I think she is far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, superior to Trump. I'll vote for Hillary most likely because of Trump, not because of Hillary.

Ben Carson is in charge of finding Trump's VP nominee. I doubt you believe Palin isn't a woman.

According to Ben Carson, Palin is on a short list of names Trump is considering for running mate.

You are so behind the times Denny. If you want to be a Trump fanboi (and you know you do), you better get with the program. Ben Carson got dumped from the VP committee some time ago, right after he said that.

Trump smart enough to not want Palin link to him as VP choice. And to have a better vetted choice of VP.

I think you are right. He is, actually, too smart to want Palin.

Of course, my long-dead hamster is also too smart to want Palin.

It doesn't matter how you run your mouth, it's the vote that counts.

What has Trump said that you call shitty that I should be upset about?

A temporary ban on immigration from terorrist places (Muslims)? I think it is prudent, we shouldn't have to wait for Trump. Look at the carnage just one Muslim immigrants son brought us just last week.

His complaint about the judge on his case releasing previously sealed information. A judge that belongs to La Raza (the race?), Mexican Nationalist, racial supremacy organization.

    Even
Criticism of "La Raza" by César Chávez[edit]
César Chávez was a critic of La Raza, stating to Peter Matthiessen of The New Yorker, "“I hear more and more Mexicans talking about la raza—to build up their pride. Some people don’t look at it as racism, but when you say ‘la raza,’ you are saying an anti-gringo thing, and it won’t stop there. Today it’s anti-gringo, tomorrow it will be anti-Negro. We had a stupid guy who just wanted to play politics with the union, and he began to whip up La Raza against the white volunteers, and even had some of the farm workers and the pickets and the organizers hung up on la raza. So I took him on. These things have to be met head on. On discrimination, I don’t even give the members the privilege of a vote, and I’m not ashamed of it. No, the whole business of discrimination can’t exist here. So often, these days, the leaders are afraid, and even though they feel strongly against racism, they will not speak out against it. If the leadership is united, then it can say, ‘All right, if you’re going to do things that way, then you’ll have to get rid of us.’ You have to speak out immediately, the first time."[17]

Chávez friend and UFW staffer LeRoy Chatfield[18] stated, ""That's one of the reasons (Chávez) is so upset about La Raza. The same Mexicans that ten years ago were talking about themselves as Spaniards are coming on real strong these days as Mexicans. Everyone should be proud of what they are, of course, but race is only skin-deep. It's phony and it comes out of frustration; the la raza people are not secure. They look upon Cesar as their 'dumb Mexican' leader; he's become their saint. But he doesn't want any part of it. He said to me just the other day, 'Can't they understand that that's just the way Hitler started?' A few months ago the Ford Foundation funded a la raza group and Cesar really told them off. The foundation liked the outfit's sense of pride or something, and Cesar tried to explain to them what the origin of the word was, that it's related to Hitler's concept."[19]

Richard Garcia quotes Chavez as stating, "La Raza? Why be racist? Our belief is to help everyone, not just one race. Humanity is our belief." and noted Stan Steiner[20] as observing that when Chavez told Chicanos this, "their faces fell" in disbelief. They had thought he was a nationalist, not a humanist."[21][22][23]

Hell, I think Trump was spot on, had to speak out, he wants to control immigration.

Naw! You can't mean those so what?

There's no point. You and I see the world completely differently. What I see as obvious, you see as opposite. Thankfully, there's freedom of speech and beer.

There are at least five Hillary Clinton bashing threads on this site. The purpose of this was to give views about who candidates might choose and why. BTW, Politifact rated Sanders, Kasich and Clinton the most truthful candidates and Trump the least. FWIW. My last comment off the subject.

Condoleezza (is that correct spelling?) Rice said very definitely she is not interested in being Trump's VP. She is currently not being mentioned by the assorted pundits as a possible. Neither is Sarah Palin.

Interesting - I'm on the Clinton mailing list so I get about 5 emails a day. When you want someone to give you money, it's a good tactic to offer a small something in return. I got an email that if I donate by midnight I get a supporter card that lists Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Bill Clinton, Elizabeth Warren and [my name] support Hillary Clinton. So two presidents, a vice president, and of everyone in the Senate one name singled out, Warren. It really is looking more like she's going to be the pick.

Hillary Clinton releases VP shortlist–and she’s got some real doozies

Want more hot BPR News stories? Sign up for our morning blast HERE

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton gave a peek at a list of her possible vice presidential contenders, along with what she saw as the most important qualification for the position.

“I want to be sure that whoever I pick could be president immediately if something were to happen,” Clinton told CNN earlier this month. “That’s the most important qualification.”

Although the former secretary of state has yet to conduct formal interviews of possible vice presidential preferences, CNN reported that records and backgrounds of several Democrats — including Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia, Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro of Texas — have been subjected to hours of study.

Kaine, who is a freshman senator, has executive experience as a one-term governor of Virginia after serving as a one-term lieutenant governor under Mark Warren.

Warren’s qualifications aren’t quite so sterling for the position. Before being elected as Massachusetts’ freshman senator, she served a less-than-one-year stint as a special advisor to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau following two years as chairwoman of the Congressional Oversight Panel.

She is best known, however, for her claim that she has a native American heritage — a claim devoid of proof.

Warren’s highest qualification as running mate — if not vice president — has nothing to do with readiness to assume office as president and everything to do with using Warren’s ultra-left ideology, which could help to bring supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders into the fold.

This could be important given that Sanders is not on Clinton’s list and the Vermont Independent has yet to endorse Clinton.

Castro, who’s been HUD secretary for less than two years, was San Antonio’s mayor for five years before President Obama tapped him for his current position.

The three lawmakers should be considered serious contenders and not as Clinton’s only finalists. Labor Secretary Tom Perez, Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio and Rep. Xavier Beccera of California are also being considered, CNN reported.

Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and longtime Clinton aide and lawyer Cheryl Mills are reportedly assisting the former secretary of state in the selection process.
