    If Meyers is expected to get a big offer, I certainly wouldn't mind replacing him with a more experienced version of him, and picking up a draft pick to boot. Neil's already pursued Hawes once. This seems like exactly the kind of move we should be making.

    That'd be a terrific move. Hawes is on $5.6M a year so hardly a staggering sum.

    How large is Lamb's contract? He is the better player over Hawes. We do need a big more than SG/SF but only if that guy would have serious rotation minutes. Not sure Hawes would.

    Hawes' contract is a lot more palatable. About 12 mil for 2 yrs, and last year is player option.

    IMO Lamb is a very serviceable rotation player and in the new NBA salary madness that's a very cheap contract
