Hmm, episode 9 was great. No, not the quality in story telling that has been the hallmark of GRRMs writing, but still a joy to watch. As has been mentioned, there are arguably 14 episodes to wrap the story up. I do not expect the complexity that we have become accustomed to. What I think we get is a lot of action at a fast pace.
Skipping through to avoid book spoilers. But I felt compelled to shout it on the roof tops. But wartime Sansa is hot AF! That is all.
I should have said main characters, and not sympathetic characters, effin' Hodor died The show seems to be pointing in the direction of a death and rebirth of the Stark family, which is cool as hell. Maybe I'll be surprised, but seems to be getting more predictable to me. Lord Baelish is slimy and I don't trust him. I could see him backstabbing the Starks. Osha was rad.
The problem is that they can't kill off people they've given major screen time to, or everything they've done previously would be for nought. IMO, they can't kill off Bran, Arya, or Danaerias. They also can't kill off Tyrion or the show will become too serious and too boring. they can kill off Circe or really anyone in King's Landing, because that part of the show is really about KL more than the people. they can't kill off John Snow, because a major part of the show is dealing with the wildings and the wight walkers. However.... they can kill off John Snow if they develop another character to replace him. Similarly, if Danaerias has a protoge/child to take over her role. They can kill off Tyrion if they develop another interesting character. I don't expect any of these to happen soon. THEY'D BETTER NOT KILL OFF ARYA! In fact, I think someone should extract all of the Arya scenes and make a youtube video out of it. It would save a lot of time when rewatching the series!
lol, I've heard the "conspiracy theory." I understand that Dumbledore isn't dead: http://www.beyondhogwarts.com/harry-potter/topics/dumbledoreisnotdead.html
What does one have to do with the other? Anyway, if you think Arya can suddenly beat Waif despite having her guts bleeding into her torso, cool. I'm probably the bigget Arya fan here, but I think she's dead.
She did it in the dark.... because she was trained as a blind girl. I think youre thinking too much into this. But you never know with got.
Pretty sure you'll get your answer this episode when Arya kills the Frey's. Not sure why the Waif would do that
Well I'm not sure what you're talking about with Arya, so I thought you were just making shit up too.
Arya is heading to the Riverlands to kill the Frey's. Jaime is there too, but I don't think he will die. I do think he'll get fingered for the killing though
There is a picture from a Frey dinner somewhere with a blonde chick just staring at the camera, while everyone else is toasting. I think that's Arya, and I think she poisoned the Frey's
I just watched that section of the preview again, but I see nothing suspicious. If it happens, that's awesome, but I think if she gets a killing spree it'll be all throughout Season 7. Personally, i'd like to see The Hound and the Jethro Tull Bandits find Lady Stoneheart and go kill some Freys.
